I have a pricing sheet I use that the client is able to see when they're placing the order. It's broken down by the amount of colors printed per side and quantity of garments. If the client changes the order size mid-order and it goes into and out of a price break, then their cost is changed...
Just reaching out to see if anyone is having issues with Oracal's 5600 reflective vinyls on vehicles. I've had two issues recently.
Used the orange on our shop truck and the vinyl is peeling off on almost all the edges. Used the red on a fire marshal's vehicle and have similar peeling with...
Showroom here is half wrapped and half painted (hired a client of ours to paint). We have slat board on the walls (which is the part that's wrapped). So there are three shelves that hold stuff. We have some carved/blasted samples there, as well as a bucket of ink and squeegees on the top (so...
It's seems like it's always a rollercoaster but I've been steady since I'd say early March. Ended up getting a couple large jobs from a business group that kept us busy early this year and put a pretty penny in our pocket.
Incorrect. Edge prints don't need to be laminated. That's the joy of foil over ink. I'm attaching a photo of a sign we just took down in the last week or so because the pharmacy went out of business. The sign was made in 2007 and the marble effect is black Edge print on grey vinyl. 12 years...
DFS is another vendor that would be able to pull this off. Personally, I prefer them to 4over. They package their products nicely so you don't need to repackage to give to the client. They double check files to make sure everything will print right and their customer service is beyond awesome.
Strange. Everyone I've told this to had the same measurement. You're not supposed to stretch it out as far as you can. It's more relaxed. And apparently, easier to show in person. :)
If you stretch out your fingers (like a surfer), this distance between your thumb and pinky finger is roughly seven inches. I've used this for many things other than signs. An old tin knocker taught me this ages ago.
I'd say as long as there wasn't an issue from the birthday girl or her mom, it's all good. My Puerto Rican sister-in-law threw a hissy fit years ago when my mom bought her daughters non-white Barbies. We thought it was a bit of an over reaction at the time and my mom exchanged them. Many...
I don't think I have much in my profile, but I did it so long ago, I don't remember. I should go look. I think I only put basics, but I tend to not ask many questions. Instead I give input on others' posts. When I come across something I need help with I search and there's usually already a...
