  1. Need Help Name this font please!

VAG is really close, but not exact.
  2. Discussion Cut letters / wrap films

I've done this a bunch of times. You just need to test the material to find the right depth for cutting first.
  3. Drum wraps

I haven't done it, but one of the guys that I work with is a drummer and did his own. He shot it with a quick spray of gloss paint to help the vinyl adhere. He chose holographic vinyl, so any minor imperfections weren't terrible.
  4. Font Identity

    Or Arista
  5. what is this

It's the self destruct lever. I would suggest not pulling it unless you have an escape pod. XD
  6. Butt Ugly Fonts

So you've never done a shitty sign for a client because they wouldn't allow you to improve their design?
  7. Butt Ugly Fonts

How much shop experience do you have? I'm not asking to be mean, but I've got pretty many years under my belt and yes, there are some customers that you can persuade. And then there are the ones that no matter what you show them, they want the horrible crap they brought you. Most of the...
  8. best printer for white and metallic printing

Is size an issue? I know Gerber Edges are limited to 11.8" high print area, but I've not seen a printer that has better white or metallics. And for longevity, I would rate Edge prints over inkjet any day. I have a few that are pushing 8-10 years with a UV skin and they look as good as the day...
  9. Can anyone help me find this sign hardware?

Looks like it might be a Charleston Post and Panel sign.
  10. Pennant Flags

The concern is with the rope. The ones I've been able to get from suppliers in the past are a flimsy plastic length that the triangles are attached to. They tend to rip pretty quickly.
  11. Pennant Flags

So I know these are temporary but I have a client that wants something that will hold up in the wind and winter weather a little better. Does anyone have a supplier for pennant flags that are a bit sturdier?
  12. Question Double Sided decals?

I'm not familiar with Rolands, but I have an Edge and this is how I print them. Clear vinyl with process foils plus white and either dark grey or black. What is going to be viewed from the outside is printed first in reverse. Then a flood coat of white, flood coat of black/dark grey, flood...
  13. Wrapping 24' Box Truck with Rivets

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I've ever quoted or accepted a job without knowing how I was going to accomplish it.
  14. What would you guys charge for this install?

I'd be in the same range as this as long as it's install only within a reasonable distance of your shop, otherwise a travel fee could be tacked on.
  15. Wrapping 24' Box Truck with Rivets

3M 1080 is all I'd use to do this job unless you can remove the rivets, which frankly, will take a lot longer than just going over them.
  16. Need Help Font ID

    I've got nothing. Sorry
  17. Joe Pribish.. Old Paint

Just saw Hennie's post on Facebook. Joe was truly one of a kind and I'm honored to say he was a friend. :toasting:
  18. Font ID, please

For this job, having the font would just be easier because I'm squeezing it in with other jobs. Worse case, I'll trace.
  19. Font ID, please

I just need something really similar because I'm just doing a heat transfer of the number 3 and really don't feel like tracing this.
  20. Suggestions Longest lasting printed vinyl on dimensional signs

Edge prints. I've got a partial vehicle wrap out there that was done in 2008 and it still looks like it did the day it was installed. Did a full color Edge print with a Frog Skin layer (Gerber's UV Abrasion Guard was available yet). If they're looking for extreme long term, then you need to...
