You're printing with the exact roll of material and foil and getting different results on the second Edge? If so, then I'd suggest cleaning the printhead and if that doesn't help, check your heat settings and make sure their identical to the second Edge that's printing correctly.

Based off the picture alone, I would say you're not using Edge ready materials. I would suggest a test run with Gerber Foils and 3M vinyl. I've had this exact same problem and it almost always comes back to using a ZeroNine foil on a specialty vinyl.

I made a "Sticky Foot" years ago. It's a light blue magnet that is exactly one foot long and says Sticky Foot on it. Slap it on any vehicle and take a photo. Easy to scale up, but I still take final measurements once the vehicle is here before cutting or printing.

You'll have trouble with the sweatshirts. Direct to Garment printing needs 100% cotton or really high cotton to poly count. There are only a few manufacturers that have such a thing.

I only pushed the question, because if you call Gerber Tech Support, that is the first question they ask. If you're not using Gerber foil and vinyls, they won't help you until you do and get the same result. Now, have you tried printing a block of solid color? What were the results?

May I ask why you're using fabric around a sign frame? How long is the client expecting it to last?
