I would try printing a test print from the printer only - not software- block full head width for 4 inches or so.

clean the rails really well, add a few drops of oil. then do test cuts. If it cuts well then maybe spend the 300 ish on a new roller. If not - then maybe let it go

Do they still make the jet black foil, or a foil that was used for making screen negatives?

I would be comfortable max 500 range. I honestly don't think I need 4K because I do not print photos but would like descent / good color accuracy.

Do you have a computer with software Gerber or flexi to try and send a job? With no foil or vinyl loaded - it may unlock and five you an error Also there is the hidden print test button - blank area on the keypad

Sounds like the latch is locked on the inside - it locks when it’s printing. Have you tried powering on?

what wooly said and add more pinch rollers, slow the cut speed down...

What Phil said.... How many rollers are you running and how wide is the material? Are you pulling straight off the roll or pre-rolling our the material to be cut?

It would have to be punched - 15" material. I have heard you can print on the paper liner of vinyl- or backside.

did you try replacing the D power cable-- check outlet.

What version - does it have a dongle and or need internet connection
