When time becomes money you will find the aluminum post the way to go.
How could it be out of the budget ?
An 8' wood post cost $10 plus what ever it cost to cover it and an alum cost $30
Is $40 really to much to put out a superior job ?
The difference in the cost pittance.
We stock 24'...
Pass this on to your forman
Lamp spacing 101
lamps have to b at least 4.5" from the face
spacing between lamps........double the distance between the face and the lamp.
Looks like you are trying to deliver to many messages at one time.
Might be ok for a flier but for a sign that's being viewed by people in cars not good.
Give it the squint test.It looks like one big blur
Remember your design training.
You can only deliver one message effectively.
Hope this helps
I am in the modern day sign making business competing against the new generation of people with printers and plotters in there basements.
I am a non profit
Figured out your problem
You bought an old used printer that for some reason somebody else wanted to get rid of.
I hope you get it printing like a new one
Worst kind of customer
If they can't be educated as to what is proper.I just say yes Mam or yes sir cause I want the money.
I also make sure their crap artwork is signed off.
This is the worst kind of customer.
When the sign is finished and out there in the real world and it looks like crap...
For those that stay close to industry news as it pertains to the 1st amendment.
This is a big one.If Reed wins it's a whole new ballgame

Bummer you had a bad experience.
Mine was different I have had the machine since Sept and use it almost everyday with no problem.
I hope you get it sorted out with them.
We rarely do anything over 96" but we could if we needed to.
We have done a couple 16' faces with it.
Never saw a need for long runs.
What do you do with a 4' x 20' print anyhow
