We use Grimco and ND Graphics. I think there are two other big ones out west I don't remember the names. Edit: TG Graphics and All Graphic Supplies are two others out here. Only used TG for some niche hardware.

I use the Olfa XA-1 with 30 degree blades for just about everything. Bigger knives and blades I only found useful for cutting long straight lines with a ruler and I only ever use the art knives for weeding. 30 degree blades will do everything in a retractable and easy to carry knife.

I would butt it together and run edge sealer over where they meet. Same as how I handle perf.

We don't really know about the little stuff. But we have a good relationship with a lot of large clients in our area, so on the bigger jobs that they're required to get multiple quotes for, they will often tell us.

SC 900 was changed to SC 950 and some colours didn't survive the transition. Have you called your suppliers? They might have some stock of the old stuff that they would be more than happy to sell. ND Graphics up here in Canada says they still have stock of it on their site.

I tried everything imaginable and while some things did help a little, it would still head strike too frequently to use. From what I've gathered it's poor quality control and not actually being optimized for latex even though they claim it is.

Ultraflex banners are the worst on latex. I fought with this stuff, and some of their other banner products, for months because everyone seemed to love the final product when it actually worked. I don't know about cheap. But we use Chemica 1702 on our 360. Works great. I would stay away from printable Siser.

I never use heat assist when mounting prints, it can cause stretching and skewing. For laminating, I do think it helps mainly with cast laminates. Mostly optically clear. I haven't noticed a difference in calendared.

+1 to hire someone SEO is constantly changing and is best handled by someone who knows the ins and outs. Takes too much time to do it yourself and run your shop.

We ended up going with Chemica BestPrint 1702. Print is pretty good, there was a profile for our 360, I had to bump the optimizer to 30. Cuts and weeds well, allows for small details. But the best part of it is the transfer mask (850). It's very aggressive adhesive, miles better than the Siser...

It's good when used properly, it does have some issues with it. But generally it's been a good tool that saves time and lets the sales team focus more on talking to the client rather than taking measurements and writing them down. It's not always EXACT, but with a safety margin and some bleed it...

Have you considered the Spike measuring tool? Our sales reps just take a bunch of pics when they go out with it and then get all the measurements back at the shop. Perspective doesn't really matter and it's pretty accurate.

We've been using the LX480mc pretty much since it came out without any issues. Done several wraps with it. Maybe the SV is different when it comes to the air release?

I think the separation started when I switched presets to the higher temp. It's kind of like little tunnels every so often, mostly by the edges, but they're very small and haven't caused any problems so I haven't tried to work it out. I'm sure a lower temp would fix that if it becomes an issue.

I used to run it at 196 at 8 passes, but I've found the image looks a lot better with more ink and passes, so I run it with the HP One-View Window Perf preset. Might need some fine tuning but it's been giving me good results.

We use the 54" as our main storefront window perf. Haven't had any problems except that if we leave it loaded in our printer overnight and it goes to sleep, it will crash into it when it wakes back up. Also the backing can kind of separate a tad if you're printing on latex, but that hasn't...
