  1. Tribal Pitbull from the side?

Doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to do it... Seems a LOT simpler than a lot of stuff I've dealt with in the past... Almost like roughing in a figure, and not using anything but black...
  2. Tribal Pitbull from the side?

Hey, thanks! One of the tat images is probably going to take a coupla hours off my life, but hey... This guy used to be a 'banger, but now he's a successful and legit businessman, but he's gotta have his Saturday Night Ride to show off with... Maybe I'll do it in gold...
  3. Tribal Pitbull from the side?

A guy wants to do a pair mirrored on his truck. Hey, it's his truck. Anyone know a good source?
  4. This may be one of the "Noobiest" questions ever asked ;-)

I've been using Corel since it came out. Why? Fast text manipulation. I usually don't "draw" with the thing, but if I'm throwing a logo together for someone, it's a killer app... And I've used darn near everything out there. What do I hate? Quark...
  5. Ever thrown anyone out of your shop?

Load 'em with W296 or H110... They work better that way...
  6. Ever thrown anyone out of your shop?

Maybe file under "Tips and Tricks" ========================= Underneath the "White Board of Evil Customers," line up a row of shotgun shells, with their names neatly indivdually lettered.
  7. Hey, Graphtec Neal!

It's Photoprint DX, but it's still a special edition... And it'll only talk to Mutoh. So. When I install the Graphtec software (made by SAI), it redirects the "print" jobs to the cutter. Which as far as the Photoprint software is concerned isn't there. Without cutting master installed...
  8. Hey, Graphtec Neal!

You're not far off... For two programs that are allegedly from the same company, and seem to have more or less the same interface, the Photoprint 4.05 that came with my Mutoh and the Cutting Master program that came with the Graphtec DO NOT want to play nice-nice with each other... Just...
  9. Hey, Graphtec Neal!

Oh I _found_ the manual... On the software disk. After I got the thing put together. And I don't think it really had all that much in it about assembly, beyond some better pictures of the finished product. The little postage-stamp sized ones on the paper that shipped with it (among all...
  10. Ever thrown anyone out of your shop?

About 20 years ago, I had a storefront office in a "nice" part of town, which was fairly close to some "not nice" parts of town. If anyone here's from St. Louis, they know what I'm talking about - the city is a patchwork. Anywho, I used to keep a .45 under my desk...
  11. Is is just me...

Gee, it's been AGES since I watched any '70s porno... (I knew one of the fellows who was a particpant in the John Holmes robbery snafu... Serious loser).
  12. CS3 Install Problems

I installed on one computer yesterday. The thing wants to reach out to the internet, and if you have anything that doesn't let it, it gorches. Turn the stuff off, leave your system _WIDE_ open, and try it. Then close the doors after the install. I _hate_ software companies that do this... I...
  13. Hey, Graphtec Neal!

3 beers. It's on, and I've only got four screws left over. Not really sure where they go, but I suppose I'll find out eventually. May or may not config the software tonight. Also need to install CS on this machine...
  14. Hey, Graphtec Neal!

Went out to garage. Looked through cardboard. Confirmed no "how the darn thing goes together" book. I've got the bottom portion of the stand together. 1.5 beers. I'm guessing as to how the top is configured.
  15. Hey, Graphtec Neal!

Coupla packing tips: 1) Put the manual and stuff ON TOP or maybe with a little thing printed on the box that says "your manual is here." Only thing that was accessible was the warranty stuff. Hope I don't need it... 2) The Chinese stuff is moderately interesting, and I'm sure that lawyers...
  16. pliers-type grommet setters?

Do they work okay? No problem with gorilla-type force, if that's all that's necessary...
  17. Stick Figure People?

Do you have kids? First thing you have to realize is that in some households, they set the style standard. If something is cute and silly, it stands a VERY good chance of ending up on the back of the family truck. Could be worse. Could be The Evil B'Harni in all his purpleness...
  18. Rotary Trimmer? Looking for cost-effective solution

Thanks! That looks like it may be the ticket...
  19. How would you set this up? Mutoh Falcon and Graphtec CE5000-120

So I don't have to worry about exporting from Corel to the Photoprint 4.05 software? It's the RIP for the Mutoh, and it won't take jobs from other software.
  20. Rotary Trimmer? Looking for cost-effective solution

Where I used to work, we had a Neolt. I _really_ don't wanna spend a grand on a trimmer. I'll use an 8' straightedge and an exacto first. Any other suggestions? Primary use is on paper. I doubt I will EVER cut cardboard/posterboard/heavy crap...
