How often are you cleaning the print heads and capping station? This could be the issue. Also since it's solvent you probably need to change the time between cycling to every 4 hours or so.

While his issue is file seems to be file size, but he needs quality wouldn't a .png be at 150dpi be better? With the transparency and shadows I would think that the png would have less issues. I could be wrong I just hate jpegs.

Not sure on this either but you can try placing another color between of the color that you want, can also try creating each color gradient in a different layer and maybe place a white gradient in between the colors that are giving you problems.
