I see what your saying and understand where your coming but I think the 10%of the time it's an issue doesn't mean that the rest 90% should suffer or be penalized for the action of a few people going off topic during a thread.
Could you use something like Diamond Grade reflective? It's pretty aggressive. If not could you use something more conformable like a 3m 680-Cr and use a primer 44 base coat on the concrete first? Use a heat gun and roller and really get it on there?
I know that 3m now make a convex like...
Interesting, so your saying that the HP570 has ink starvation issue with lc/lm inks when printing under 12 pass? Is this a know issue or more your own personal observation? You say it has been discussed in these forums but the only one I knew of was the issue with magenta which was corrected...
I used to deal with this a lot with an agency. The would sent over artwork for a vehicle wrap with no aspect ratio or measurements. Also would never take into account that it was a 3D object and would design like a 2D website image.
I was looking into getting Di-Noc certified but not sure if it was worth it. What's your take on it? I'm also not sure if there is that much Di-noc business in the state is there any way to find out before making the investment for certification?
So the 'lazy' way to do this, since the window probably has some sort of curve to it would be to get some paper and make and actual template. You can regular paper and just tape several pieces together. Use a pencil to mark the edges around the whole window. Now cut out the shape and use a...
We use templates and have never really had a problem except when a client has added an aftermarket part. As long as they are scaled properly and you get the right one thet're usually pretty close, Art Station ones are usually spot on and have the different models that have the plastic moldings...
So my co-worker has a hard on about using the interpass delay feature on our HP 570's. The bulk of what we print on is 3M IJ180Cv3, 680 CR and 13oz banner. He keeps on wanting to tweak my profiles to add an interpass delay, in his mind this would mean that you could lower the temperature as it...
No, covering the windows in white will not reduce the amount of heat to almost zero. It will create a shaded area but the heat will will still transfer to the room from the windows, it would be like going from being under a magnifying glass to radiant heat system. You would actually need...
I thing it the actual Flexi archive feature. Felxi will save everything you print or cut in a separate archive folder (by default it's a subfolder in the SAI program file).
But I'm with you, I clean out my rip every few days...
I think that there will be a slightly noticeable reduction in heat but not as much as the guy is hoping for. They actually make films that will help with this, most of the ones I know of are made like window tint but have a reflective property.
