  1. Window Perf Question

It does look like something splashed up on it.
  2. Viable Alternatives to SIGNS365?

Another thing you can do is print out a rectangle of your PMS color and cut the letters out on your own plotter. I did that with a snowmobile because I knew he would be back for more and I wanted to make sure the purple was exactly the same or it would have looked bad. Then you also have some...
  3. Vinyl print skewing using Big Squeegee...static cling?

Interesting...so you are charging more for a full bleed. That's something I'm going to do, I like that!
  4. Vinyl print skewing using Big Squeegee...static cling?

Is anyone going to measure the board and does it have to be perfectly 4x8? It's probably bigger than 4x8 so, cut it down a 1/4 - 1/2" on top and side then you can still order your print to save on square footage and have a little play on all sides. Not saying I've done that...but...I have LOL...
  5. Not to contribute to that mess being created in another thread

It's all in a person's approach. I very much enjoy a good conspiracy theory, mystery or true crime case! Present your case, let me research and we can argue about it. If you call me names or yell at me then I lose interest. I'm not opposed to reading anyone's views on here left or right...I...
  6. Viable Alternatives to SIGNS365?

Sometimes I just created a rectangle of color behind the contour cut, that way I'm ensured no white will show through...perhaps it's being lazy but it's sometimes just quicker too.
  7. Wall graphics with IJ180CV3-10

I have a light/heater like this...it works awesome! For smaller jobs if you don't get the vehicle earlier enough for it to warm up I'll aim this on the area and the metal warms up very quickly. A coupe times I ran out of propane in the garage and this little infrared light worked just fine...a...
  8. New rite media laminator

    Is this what you have?
  9. Mondo rack!!?

What about using some 1" wood dowels - might not be strong enough though. Maybe some kind of hollow pole...like a shower pole with a rubber thingy on the end, lightweight, cheap and still strong enough.
  10. Wall graphics with IJ180CV3-10

I've only used the IJ35 with matte laminate. I really like the matte finish for walls. No issues thus far for any of my installs.
  11. tool suppliers???

I added 10% and $5, I guess I'm in the ballpark thanks for sharing that
  12. Free Production Manager

Can't you call where you purchased it from and ask for a copy? This happened to me years ago when my shop was struck by lightening...I was able to get a new key and they deactivated the old one.
  13. Think it's too subtle? LOL.

That's awesome! It reminds me of that plumbing van where the driver looks like he's on the toilet.
  14. 3x5 flags

If nobody responds - I usually order things like this online and just mark it up, especially if it's a "one-off" item. Maybe a place like this...I don't see that Vistaprint makes them otherwise I've ordered random things from them before. https://www.banners.com/custom-flags/standard-3x5-flags
  15. One up on Gino

Yes I hung up on one this week looking for “banner scraps” he could tape together and vinyl letters he can glue on. Good grief. Turned down a couple more. One guy “tempted “ me with an order of “7” shirts if I would make his wife one joke shirt. I said I’ll make you 12 and once you pay for those...
  16. Customer put my road sign on a 40' pole

At least there is a metal pole on both sides going the height of the sign...this doesn't have that. It looks like they just set the sign on top of a 12" pole. Maybe they made a cover for the pole and then bolted the bottom 2x4 into it? I'm not sure. I'll try and take a picture this weekend.
  17. what happened?

I didn't look for them...it was before the infamous "Ukrainian post" I wanted to post something to tell our sign friends over there to be safe but then I didn't.
  18. Customer put my road sign on a 40' pole

Actually - it's one panel. I'm getting confused as I dropped also made 6 aluminum ones for the building. Anyway - the funny thing is the frame design is yours LOL I showed them this one I made from your picture a couple years back (mine's slightly different than yours). Instead of screwing it...
  19. what happened?

Yes, there was a couple members that I found a couple weeks ago.
  20. Customer put my road sign on a 40' pole

Yes, when we met she had the sign stand already made and in place 10' from the road - I measured the stand so I knew what size panels to make. In this particular spot you would need to be right up on the sign within 1-2 car lengths to see it. She was talking to the city about the permit (and I...
