EXACT same thing happening to me. Same time frame, same crop problems. Only this morning...it happened on the front crop marks. SO not much wasted material. When it's happened on the back ones...I'm still able to cut after..cause they are pretty much done. All updates are done.

You more than likely have a cartridge or 2 of cleaning liquid for flushing out your lines. It comes with the Roland. I just saved myself $80 (gallon) by opening up the cartridge and cutting the tip off. Poured it into the empty little bottle and taped the bag back up for later refill. Same stuff...

Actually...NO! It has to be PROVEN that the 3rd party ink is what caused the problem. It cannot be assumed. This is only for the 1st year Manufacturer's warranty though. They cannot just void the warranty for using 3rd party inks. They have to "prove" the cause, even if it's to the ink...

If you are within you 1st year of warranty...using 3rd party inks cannot legally void the warranty unless they prove it was the inks that caused a problem. However...if you are within your "complimentary" 2nd year extenstion they offer...you can void your warranty, because it's offer is...

I've had 3 problems with the Solaris cartridges now. They say the "dates" are of the problem generation period and those problems should be fixed. The tab doesn't pop out when empty ("because of faulty tape") causing the machine to continue printing, drawing air into the line. Happened twice...

Unless of course the rear roller frame that holds the media isn't exactly inline with the printer/rollers. Just a minute difference will affect a longer print. And if you are doing double sided banners...let the headaches begin.

So...if you produce a business card layout, brochure layout and logo for a customer, and they say.."give me the disc so I can have the shop across the street do all my printing and signage because I own it"...you would do so?

AMEN BROTHA! If I wanna buy a disc of thiers...I have to pay full price from them rather than buying it for few bucks used from an old shop owner...who already has the files on thier pc. Does that suck for me...ABSOLUTELY...is it a smart business decision of thiers though...OF COURSE!

Calendared & repeating...? Eww. Printing Bushwolf's patterns onto 3M Cast full size with NO repeats is the BEST way to go. So you don't have little logo's hidden in it that say Real Tree or Mossy Oak...so what. Just my .02¢

There are a lot of "Cheap" install crews that tag-team wraps for shops all the time. Like a pack of freinds or brothers, knock it out in an 8 hour day or less and go home and crack the 12 pack and split the $800. The Printer barely lifts a finger and still get's a few hundred out of it AND get's...

PRECISELY! IF you can get them to show you something of an idea they had for their vehicle (rarely happens) you find out they are only envisioning die cut vinyl on the side and maybe thier back window perfed. But it's like pulling teeth to get what they want outta them.

Not sure why this happened and can't seem to figure out how to get it back. When I click on an object and then click the color box...NORMALLY a dialogue box pops up in the center of the screen for me to change color values etc. The other stuff work still...gradient blend, etc...but not the color...
