Here's how to fix that...you must only use the outsided rollers...AND when doing so...there are 2 things you have to do with that...
1. Feed out slack in the back so that the 2 pinch rollers aren't fighting the weight of the roll stock...(causes the bunching)
2. Turn down the heat to 86 for...
Almost as annoying as when people go to my "get a quote" page and do this pherwnf[aoyhfv[oahn[h[aheodfjao[jhif to all the fields then hit submit. What's the point of that...and who has that kind of spare time anyway?
Well if I understand it correctly...Roland has a manufacturer's warranty for the 1 year...and the rep will offer a FREE 2nd year warranty "IF" you continue to purchase thier ink only.
SO if it happens during the 1st year that yo switch...legally, they cannot. But during the second year of the...
LOL...That sucks man. Even a 48" would be better than that. Mutoh is practically giving away 48" now because nobody wants those. I would definately invest in a large printer before ANYTHING else.
Yeah, I think the salt plays the biggest part in the vinyl drying out. You sure they laminated it...
YES..I've had that happened whilst wrapping a bus side with Arlon. Clean separation left the grey kicking it there on the surface and bare spots on the vinyl back. Was weird. And you can be sure that was the LAST time I used that...but still considering the NEW XRP since it has been "enhanced"...
My "tried and tested Roland ink" gave me the opposite of peace of mind when I had to replace 10,000 decals I gave to a customer because in 3 months the yellow dissapeared completely from the Orajet. 3 months!!!
The official claim by Roland DGA about thier Eco-Sol Max ink's are "Durability up to...
Hmmm...you are talking about me...only my problem was with Solaris ink..not bordeaux. Could it be someone else had the exact same problem..recently like me...but with a different 3rd party ink?
So today I told my vendor where I bought my Roland & my laminator and all my ink that I no longer will be supporting roland ink because of the problem I had with it. The yellow ink on 10,000 decals dissapeared after only 3 months of being on top of trash cans. They were not laminated because...
I'm interested,
I have a roll of JarHead, and it peels where there is ink to the edge AND where there is none.
It's been repositioned once..but curled before then. PM me thanks.
The Enduralam IS a SEAL that has been reverse engineered in China and distributed here through the likes of Sign Warehouse. Here is a link to some Chinese suppliers.
The enduralam is there without the printed logo on it...
I have a Daige quickmount 4. Unfortunately the fixed features didn't come until AFTER I decided to buy a Royal Sovereign as well. Now I use my Daige for mounting large prints to substrate. I'm sure it's a much better machine now with ALL those MANY fixes. Especially for the price. I did make do...
Really? What model is that just out of curiosity? Signcraft?
I know Roland's inks are $140 large and Mega's are $80. That's a $60 difference and a $240 difference per set. Quality arguments aside...that does seem like a viable cost difference. Considering I use Roland's inks for now...My ink...
They may be able to separate the "Printer" as a whole and the "Ink System" when speaking of coverage under a warranty but apparently they cannot void the 1 year warranty if you use a 3rd party ink...LEGALLY.
I quote the recently published info from Frank...

Honestly....My Roland Salesperson actually said he would drink the stuff and it wouldn't harm him! His claim is that it won't harm anything. If a rep for Roland will say that..then it MUST be true. He obviously doesn't have a bias. heh.
