Royal soverign 55" It was $5K plus the optional (Well Worth It) take up roller in back and front feeder. I'm sure if you offer $5K for one with no bells or whistles...they will take the offer these days. It is made in China but doesn't hide that fact. The Enduralam and it's ILK are In Fact...
  4. List of eco solvent printers anything other than roland, mimaki, mutoh?

Answer to your question. There is a conversion kit (starting at $1,200) that will convert many older or NON solvent printers to a 'solvent" printer. That's one avenue you may want to check out. (google solvent printer conversion) As far as solvent printers "other than" those 3 you listed...yes...

So Yesterday I left Warren PA and drove to Butler to get my cavities filled finally by my brother in law. Left there headed home and my face was NUMB. It was around 4:45 maybe and I passed your shop. Perhaps if it wasn't a slip slidy demolition derby out there on the road, I would have stopped...
  6. Newest High Tech Sign & Installation!!

NO, these guys couldn't make it to that show...they were busy doing they're own webinar I think. They developed this way before that product was showcased. I think the webinar was with a few companies in Japan. They are probably working on plans to put it into "full swing" (nyuk nyuk) over there.
  7. Ford in the business of selling "wraps/graphics"

Scion did the same thing on thier website. Appealing to the Gen Xer's, guess how many people actually order them that way. Everyone wan't to drive away from the lot in a car. Nobody like waiting for special order cars...especially not youngsters who would buy those ugly graphiced cars.
  8. Media Help Please

You don't really wanna fold eco-sol printed media down that small. The thinest stuff is all adhesive backed. All the papers for it are too thick to fold that small. The thin poly stuff they have for retractable banner stands won't fold & stay either. It's the wrong product for that printer.
  9. Newest High Tech Sign & Installation!!

This is a sign about 10 minutes south of me in what you may consider Rural Kentucky. I've never seen such sign mastery in my life.

Well I am getting work done on my teeth Monday after Christmas...so if you are open, I may stop in and say Happy New Year. Have a Merry Christmas.
  11. Call of Duty Wall Wrap

Not even an apples to apples comparison. Illegal drugs are illegal anywhere. Copyrights aren't as rigid. Control over thier brand by offering free high resolution images to help spread interest among would-be patrons is smart marketing. There was no "commercial value" infraction in printing...
  12. Anyone have pic's of failed or faded wraps? 12 trailer saga!

We re-did a wrap for a client...who's previous wrap company wrapped the ROOF of thier van..with pre-pigmented vinyl & NO overlam. Not to mention they bridged EVERY gap on the freakin roof. It took about 8 hours JUST to take off the roof vinyl ...in small crusty peices...on a ladder...& sitting...
  13. Tradeshow booth Problem

Actually if he's trying to stick double sided tape to a "Fabric" display...he'll have problems. Those are made for velcro. If it's not a fabric display then I can see your point. He didn't say if it was fabric or not.
  14. Call of Duty Wall Wrap

If printed for his own home...no money exchanging hands...why not. It's not like they offer wall wraps as a service. They aren't losing out on anything...just gaining publicity.
  15. Just lost a bid by HALF!

So basically some small die-cut number on 8 doors and 3sft (x8 should be less than $20 a peice for that quantity) of laminated & cut to shape vinyl (not premium 3M or anythin fancy assuming) Installation should be minutes per peice. The winning bid was $60 a door. I'd do the job for that price...
  16. Glow-Lit Wrap Graphics...

A bit off the topic of this posting. I would say, start a bashing thread with a catchy heading to spark peoples interest on spreading the hate. If you feel the affordable availability of the technology & fiscal opportunities that inspire more Americans to broaden thier horizons to offer wraps...

DUDE!!! My in-laws live near Russell PA. My wifes brother lives in Butler but his dentis office is in Pittsburg. So we took a detour to go to his house first for free family dentist work on the Thanksgiving week. As we were driving from his house...I saw a sign shop that made me...
  19. Pricing 12 Semi Trailer Wraps

True, I would say $4.75-$5.50 a sft printed, laminated & installed is a good price for that kind of quantity on Flat, large trailers. As far as printing on our own 54" printers, it's less than $2 a sft cost. You can print in your sleep (if ink is full) and my laminator goes FAST. I suppose it...

TRUCK ADS® !!! Outsource the Grand format Banners, Install the banner frame kits and you don't worry about the surface of the truck or grommets. Install in a fraction of the time. Well it seems like it'd be a good idea to go that way, if it were me.
