I used the 6 mil jarhead. If you do fancy cut to shapes like a storm trooper or something...the edges will start to curl. But a large rectange
on the whole wall it works fine. You may needs a little extra tac after the 4 seasons have thier way with the room.
That is similar looking to an idea I had ...only thing is...it's missing the memory foam material that pushes the vinyl onto the vehicle for you. Or something like that. I've daydreamed about stuff like that...how can we make a cookie cutter process for wrapping a vehicle. Problem is...every...
Not that I like Mactac, but did you know you have to heat set that? It's not like the pressure sensitive 3M, Arlon etc. You have to activate the adhesive by post heating the entire wrap to over 200 degrees. I don't remember the exact temp. Maybe that's why it was failing. I know a lot of...
if you are not going to use vinyl lam...just use a spray acrylic etc. It's easier than liquid lam. If your purpose is preservation. But the main reason I vinyl laminate perf is for the rain issue.
ProWraps...was WAY nicer than most guys' initial responses would like to have been to your initial questions. Having still not gotten your hands on any of the vinyls to know which to use...much less asking how much to charge to wrap the vehicle was a VERY comical situation at least to me.

I think if you really wanted to invest that much money into being a reseller, you should rather invest it in an electrician or some knowledge and make them yourself using EL tape etc. They charge a fortune just to be able to order from them. It's not enough they can charge you to order from...
So what you really want are boards that magnets can stick to...not magnetic boards? Your Title said magnetic boards...which would be a
little different than a steel board.
Any of you seen Lumabrite or Decalight products on thier websites?
The products use EL Strips or sheets. It's a very cool effect but not only
is it way expensive for consumers...if you want to sell thier products it costs a fortune just to be a reseller. You could probably do it yourself with...
With the the vinyl & overlam, The .27¢ difference per sq. ft. of Arlon vs. 3M just isn't worth switching from 3M to me. At least not on a standard wrap...that's only about $50 in savings. But hey, that's $50 saved you could say.
I've considered an environmental element perhaps being the cause, however given that there is not enough difference in the chemical makeup of the 4 inks to explain why only 1 color would vanish and the others are fine...still leads me to think it was a batch issue.
Roland has the samples and...
I hear you there...and believe me...I DID look to outsource them, but it ended up being cheaper to do it inhouse while the shop was closed...as long as I didn't laminate them of course. Yeah, I laminate just about everything...but these were supposed to be short term (1 year) and they were dirt...
