the best "tool" is a flatbed cutter. as stated this is a COSTLY expense.
you can use a roll feed plotter, just make sure you don't overload the motor as magnets are heavy.
would suggest looking at some of the wholesale vendors as they offer contoured cutting for magnets and by the time you...
as your image shows, the graphics will be distorted by the ribs and valleys.
our installer does a vertical hinge and works the graphics from the middle out
if you want the image to be easy to see, take a substrate and mount on top of the ribs, will give a flat surface so the graphics are easy...
very clean looking, like the address added to the vertical edge.
zooming in on the image is that backside face the same white/turquoise as the front or just the standard baked enamel white?
for the top of the "triangle", how did you seal it off? V-grooving and folding the flaps leaves a peak...
I also, remember a thread about photos, cannot remember if this is one in question though

why is the 20mil mag magnetized with a stronger PPI than the 30mil mag?
20 mil is magnetized to 16 poles per inch, & 30 mil is magnetized to 12 poles per inch
but yet the 20mil is not recommended for vehicle application.....
Why do they insist on magnets?
most vehicle are being produced with less and less steel, we have had to add a disclaimer that we are not responsible for magnets not "sticking" to vehicles
have you tried / contacted BigfishDM for his iDot film
apparently it is replacing magnetic sheeting

the type of lamination depends a lot on the project specs, how will be used / budget / how long in use / etc.
Oraguard 210 is decent
for a better calendar grade, we have been using 3M 8048G with good results
would also suggest calling your local rep and seeing what they sell the most of / hear...
to my understanding and testing, the side with the most light is easy to see into regardless of the material being used.
think of the last movie / TV show you watched where there was an interrogation room. the observation room is the darker one and hence the privacy.
BigfishDM says he...
there are more factors that come into play than just the cost of the material.
rent / mortgage
utilities
Payroll
Insurance
maintenance
Etc.
what you have to do is find and calculate EACH AND EVERY expense that you have, then break that down.
That is where the reference comes from for a shop...
There are several merchant members here that can fill your needs.

Use a heavier weight material
Reinforce the hem and corners
Make sure that once installed there is no slack. Wind whipping is the quickest way to tear up a banner

as stated, ANY overlap will be noticeable, especially on perf,
knifeless tape and a butt seam is a method we use very often, just make sure you go back and apply good pressure and/or post heat to the butt seam. if you are using cast material there should be no reason for the edge tape.
