This is the technique I'm using right now. But sometime if you move slightly, the cut is not perfect and it's practically impossible to re-cut the part. I was curious to see if there was other solutions.
I'm looking to create a similar effect in the picture below but with another thing than leaf. All need to be vector. Is there an easy way to create something similar? I was first looking to make a ''tube'' effect with parts like leafs. I'm sure there is a simple way to create this, but I have a...
We do fair amount of frosted vinyl on glass wall. We need to cut the material right on the glass bevel. Other than take my knife and cut with an angle, is there a better way or tool to do this? I was thinking of a special knife like yellowtools, but it doesn't seems to be quite right for the job.
the drop shadows was just an example. I'm the one that created the file and there is no font in it. Everything was fine until I've saved it up and tried to reopen it few hours later.
Thanks all. I ended up by redo the file. At least, I had the 3D part in another folder. But when I will have more time, I will try all your suggestions. It will be a good thing to know for the future.
That was my first idea, but sometime illustrator work ''more'' when I have items like drop shadow or 3D stuff.
If I use ''place'', it work but I can't edit it. If I select ''edit original'', I have the same problem. Yes I have acrobat pro. I can see it when I open it.
With your suggestion...
So I have a particular illustrator file saved as a pdf (all vector) that won't open. I've tried it on 2 separate computer and it's the same. When I open it, it load about 25% and stop there. If I clic something I have the ''not responding'' line on the top appearing. The file is not very big...
I use my aluminum BS with the pole, lay the substrate on the floor. The pole is long enough to do a whole 4x8 without walking on the print. I've started to also use this technique to install murals and I don't need ladder until I have to make the trim at the top.
It's because I've just got a test print from vanguard digital with their VK300D and the same file with same vinyl is better than my latex printer with a custom profile. I was just wondering if it was the same thing with all UV printer.
ok, I have a simple question. Does a print with a UV printer have a better quality than latex and solvent? Let say if I print on regular vinyl for the same base comparaison.
I have this one in the shop. I can carry it in the shop truck but sometimes I take my car and it is just 5in to long to fit in the trunk. The one I use is a featherlite multi-ladder similar to the little giant. It's small enough to fit in my car, it go higher than the DeWalt and I can climb on...
