We've found cheap semi-gloss paint is the easiest to stick to. It's the expensive stuff with additives for repelling stains and marks that tend to reject any adhesive vinyl.
But if you have your choice before they even paint, NO paint is the best option. Primed walls are great for graphics. Make...
General consensus....OS and programs on SSD, file storage on HDD. BUT...they're getting bigger and cheaper, so not a bad idea to go full SSD.....just have a backup always writing to an HDD, preferably external.
Right click anywhere on the top of the screen in Flexi under the menu headings. There will be a list where you check which toolbars you want to use. Then you can move them arrange as you wish.
Also depends on which workspace you wish to use. Under FILE, drop down to Workspace. It's probably on...
Exactly. Get in good with a Rep, and when you notice a price is too high, call them! Same with any other vendor. I've had multiple items reduced, and items that generally are low stock, they've beefed up inventory for us.
I do similar stuff daily with no issues. It has to be a calibration issue with the plotter. Do you run your cutting with OPOS barcode? It's about 99.9" spot on for us. If I ever have an issue that it is off, it is usually a problem with the material bunching up or something while cutting. It's...
This is why I have wanted to start a petition to have all laminate manufacturers make laminates at LEAST 1/2" narrower than the media. Even maybe an inch....54" media = 53" laminate. That way a minimal skew isn't going to cause that dreaded overhang of laminate halfway down the print. I mean...
So suddenly this morning, I loaded a new roll of print vinyl on the 560. Went through the usual steps....when it was initializing, the head carriage moved as it usually does to scan the material for size. Well it returned and threw up a message saying "move the material 586.something mil. to the...
Avery 2903, 2923 (both have air egress). Briteline Duration vinyls form Grimco have no printing on the back either. We have customers that specify no printing on the back so we use them too.
Are you wanting just a RIP? Or design? Design and RIP? And the answers that are NEITHER of the options you chose cracks me up.
Anyway, be more specific in what purpose the software is that you are looking for, as well as what machines you run. Then the HELPFUL ones here can move you in the right...
Anyone using this for other signage? Like long term outdoor flat signage (overlays on Dibond, aluminum, etc..)? I normally use IJ180, just wondering if this will be as good. With the $100 rebate on them right now, I'd like to snag a few rolls.
I need to procure some #2 self-piercing grommets (we have Stimpson machines) to use in 3/16" foamcore mainly. We seem to be doing a lot of these, and the standard ones end up crushing the material too much. I know they make them......problem is no one seems to sell them. Anyone have any leads?
