Having been on many sign sites, I can attest these are good questions... many many times sign people come on here asking about project out of their skill level... things they may never consider... like insurance, the need for a contractors license, permitting, codes. Asking can be an ego/anger...

I totally get that you love your logo... Like JB shows, add color to the background, hopefully you are not so stuck on your typeface... if you are, tighten up your tracking, make the type the same size, play with your existing colors, maybe reverse the copy... add a header and/or footer... spell...

Make a undersized backer, screw (or toggle) that into the door, then VHB your sign to the backer

Looks like a total of 1710 square feet to me... That makes it 4.69 a square foot. Having seen a big high school mural go bad on new corrugated, I would be worried about the paint not holding up and having to redo it... I would factor a little into the price

I know this is an old thread but, I'm fairly certain the IBC requires engineering for structures over 6'. I have an old copy floating around here somewhere. Anything below that is up to the municipality. The lowest requirement I have ever worked with was 4' I know other states/municipalities...
