Thanks guys... I have a win 7 comp avail...I really just did not want to go through the trouble of reinstalling the program and what not. The computer does not hold any vital files as they are all on my main computer and we open them across the network.... at least I think that was the way...
I run my Gerber Edge off of an old computer running....now don't laugh too hard.... it runs on win2000. The issue started last week when the computer went totally dead. I figured if nothing is working then the power supply is the problem. I had an old spare at home and brought it in hooked it...
yes but in my head saving every individual piece of artwork separately in it's own file is way more tedious than grouping them all together and just working in one document.
I don't know about you, but I feel like I waste so much time trying to explain to designers that I don't need each piece of a job in a separate file and then they do just that. Case in point...
I quote a job of individual graphics for a company that will be placed in different offices. A...
I have tested unlaminated prints on calendered in full sunlight and easily got 2 years and pushed it to 3 years with minor fade...after that they go rather fast
Also do yourself a favor and buy 5 or 6 and have them ready to switch out as they only last 6 - 8 weeks before requiring changing...they are important in keeping your heads clean

I have been getting more and more vehicles like sprinters and transits that have the side door that isn't a door but has a rubber seal or gasket where the 2 pieces of metal meet. graphics have no choice but to go over them and I am curious what the best method to make sure that the vinyl...
I picked up a new customer recently that is in the decal business. They do however get calls for cut vinyl and for some reason, even though they have the equipment to do this, they don't want to and send it to me and they resell it.
I love doing this kind of work as files are provided and the...
Out of curiosity, just what is the monthly subscription rate? Is it endless? Does the subscription cover the cost of the software or is it an add on to the $$$ you spend on the initial purchase of said software?
I am a Flexi user for print only but have not upgraded to any Cloud service...
I had a batch of graphics returned as garbage from a client. We used the 7725 3m vinyl with the synthetic backer as the graphics were very intricate and small. I tried removing a decal and basically everything was stuck to the liner. I then wet each one and removed the premask. I then...
The only reason I have found to do this is if they are die cut right to the edge and you cant separate the decal from the edge of the paper. if your printing them in house and cutting them on a plotter, there really is no reason to slit the backs... There is a hand tool you can buy to do it...
