  14. cutting nualum with a jigsaw

    I use a $40 Black & Decker jigsaw for cutting substrates to shape, and I love it. It's very light and easy to handle. I cut everything from 3/4" MDO to 1/8" ACM with no problems at all. I've had this saw for 6 years now and it still works great.

    Roland GX-24 Camm-1 here. Been using it for 5 years without a hiccup. We've only had to replace the cutting strip once in that time, about 12-18 months ago.

    $180 for the decals is about where we'd be. $10 per sq. is about our average rate for this type of laminated material on a job that size. Then I would have been at about $25.00 for installation of each one. If you painted the edges too, you did him a really nice deal.
