The GC was using the the wrong words. It turned out to be 3mm Akyprint, but he explained it was 3M Accuprint. I finally got the actual drawings and could see as I suspected it was just regular adhesive vinyl. Sorry to waste the space of the forum.

Are you able to make a difference by baby sitting the printer and sort of pull on the media a little when you see it buckling? I am also running similar media, and just have to on occasion do that to keep it performing.
