A short time ago I was considering a 3D printer just to keep up with the technology trend and use it for small or unique items. We also do 3D routing on a CNC router so it would just allow us to be fully in the 3D world. I was considering the ORIGINAL PRUSA I3 MK3S as a first time starter, do...
The standard should be Width (horizontal left to right) x Height (vertical top to bottom). The horizontal measurement should come first followed by the vertical measurement.
There are a number of free Filemaker solutions, or pre-built systems, that are generic in nature that you can adapt for your own use without too much time or effort. This could allow you to actually start to use the program fairly quickly and easily while you get to learn how to do more...
John, the cost of the sign is "authorized by the court", which these days is typically always $300 for every sign, whether or not it is a first or second sign. The committee assigning the job to you should be able to tell you what the authorized fee is. Here is an excerpt from:

Gene....I was there with you! That was an awesome event, we had Jamie & Jody from Oxenham Design, Peter Poanessa from Keene Signworx, our fantastic host and a great bunch of people. I hope someday soon we can do it again....maybe if the world straightens itself out I always thought it would be...
You are definitely going way too slow, we are routing with a single pass depth of .25" @ 18,000 rpm and 180 ipm with an Onsrud .25 x .625 End Mill 1Flute upcut bit #65-023 on a 13HP Multicam. I'd like to tweak that set up a little too so that we get a more polished finish right off the router...
The FMCSA Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration is the definitive authority for operating trucks on the road. If you have questions, you should not guess or listen to somebody else, you should get the factual information. Here is their website with some excerpts from it...
Just curious, does anyone have any experience with Universal? The last time I made the rounds looking at lasers at trade shows, I pretty much had my mind set on purchasing a Universal but it hasn't happened yet.
Really great design and execution John. Typically when the supporting structure becomes part of the design element, as you know, zoning will consider it part of the square footage and not allow it...you got lucky with this one and everyone is better off for it!
Actually, in theory, this is an excellent way to conduct business and to be able to get over financial hurdles when trying to close a sale on a sign project. Not to finance yourself of course but to have ready access to a finance company for your customers. A long time ago at a sign trade show...
Hi John! Although we are not using Mathews paint, we have had similar issues with other types of paint and have found that the marks do basically disappear either with time and sun. You should be just fine.
I'm just not quite sure why you felt it was necessary to publicly bash one of our own Merchant Members, obviously your post was directed at them. Naturally they will not be the best choice on every product and quantity as anyone else in the world but from my personal experience they are an...
