  8. Trailer wrap questions

Personal preference. I like to remove them. I remove from the top half, wrap, put back in, then do the same with the bottom half. I just think it looks more professional but I typically let the customer decide. To date, no one has told me to wrap over the screws :).
  9. *sigh* It happened again...

Well I now refuse to design for customers until I have cash in hand, and WILL NOT, unless it's a friend, WILL NOT let them peek over the shoulder and watch me design, pick fonts etc. I won't even let them back into my office/ production area. I'm the professional, I pick your fonts, your colors...
  10. So what does a bad wiper do?

  11. So what does a bad wiper do?

Hey guys, just curious on something. What are the grounds to replace a new wiper? What does a worn out wiper do to your machine? It's not that expensive of a piece, I guess I just am not knowledgable enough here, to understand it's full duty. So, how do you know when it's bad.....what does it...
  12. Banner buckling during print

There's your problem. Play with it a little with some test prints... but Basically, barely any heat at all, and you're golden.
  13. Banner buckling during print

First question, what quality of banner material are you using? I've noticed cheap 8oz and thin material tends to always want to buckle. Not worth even buying. Secondly, what are your heat settings? I turn my heaters down to where they are hardly even heating when doing banners. Excessive heat...
  14. Up a creek

Not sure how you're soaking your head, but here's how I do it. Take a coffee filter, cut in half. Thoroughly soak in cleaning solution (always keep Mutoh Cleaning Solution on hand). Put this over capping station, move head over it, lower head height. Leave overnight. Then run a few strong...
  15. Need font help, all I have is a pic

  18. Long contour cuts?

Simply not possible. No matter what equipment you use....unless you have a sprocket plotter, you're just not going to get 100% accurate cuts. Hit and miss.
