  1. CM3 and Adobe CC 2017 Not working together

Anybody know if this got worked out? How do we fix it ourselves or has it been fixed? I don't want to update just to find out it hasn't been fixed, but I'm the only one here at the shop that doesn't have the latest illustrator and....well....I don't feel as cool as everybody else here.... :cool1:
  2. Box truck wrap pricing, what are you getting?

The client or the vehicle? :thumb:
  3. 32" - 33" banner material

We do a lot of banner stands and we use the briteline rollup (we have an hp 360 and a UV printer, it prints great on both). They have a 50" width as well for the wider stuff.
  4. Suggestions HP Maintenance

It's actually a pretty straight forward thing to replace yourself. I've done it a couple times. PM me and I can send you the service manual for it if you want it and answer any questions or whatever.
  5. Paint for wood substrates

And I'd be all for that if 1) I could hand paint worth a darn and 2) this wood's "natural wood finish" didn't look like complete crap. So yep, we are using old wood, planing it smooth, painting it and then printing on it. It's not my choice to use this particular wood, (and not MY...
  6. Paint for wood substrates

Yeah, I just only have a certain amount of this particular wood so I wanted to make sure we get it right the first or second try. I have enough wood to mess it up twice and then after that I'm done...whether I got it right or not...
  7. Paint for wood substrates

We have the Q5 126" hybrid. We like it a lot. It's insanely easy to maintain, quick, field upgradeable and pretty amazing quality.
  8. Paint for wood substrates

Yeah, I had thought about not painting it white first as well. We're doing a series of signs in our lobby with the multiple different iterations of our franchise logo over the years and we're doing each sign in a different style (1/2" gator, barn wood, aluminum etc etc). I may give the 'not...
  9. Pre-Made banners

yeah, about 5 or 6 months ago we had a white on blue banner to do and the customer insisted it be "just like the old one" which was 15 years old or so....so I spent a good amount of time searching for a blue blank and bookmarked the heck out of the ones I found so I wouldn't have to do the...

  11. Paint for wood substrates

We have a CET hybrid printer. We went with straight cmyk, no white. No regrets there 'cause we would never use it. (And if that changes we can always add the white ink later since it's field upgradeable). But, having said that, I'm wanting to produce a sign using some old wood. It's for us...
  12. Humidifier?

Hope I'm putting this in the right area. We need to better control the humidity levels in our shop for our uv printer (which is why I chose the 'flatbed printer' area for this post). We have a dehumidifier for when the humidity gets too high but then we have days like today where it's dipping...
  13. Window perf on truck window

This isn't a vinyl issue or a temperature issue, this is a customer issue. You can't pressure wash it that close. We tell folks you can't pressure wash our wraps/graphics at all. Hand wash is what we tell them, and if they use a pressure washer and something fails, they get to pay for a replacement.
  14. custom imprint carpet mat

Well, "expensive" is a relative term. They cost a lot of money to purchase the roll. Grimco carries both of them. Ultraflexx will send you sample rolls of both of them though.
  15. custom imprint carpet mat

We printed a floor mat using Ultraflexx's Ultracarpet, and we printed one using their FloorFlex (it's more of a foamy rubber, not carpet) with our flatbed. http://www.ultraflexx.com/product/ultracarpet-extra/ http://www.ultraflexx.com/product/floorflex-digital/ We didn't finish the edges or...
  16. custom imprint carpet mat

What's even funnier is that Signarama doesn't. He's not asking if anyone knows how to figure out how to google it up. He's asking if anyone has a tried and true vendor. https://www.logomatsllc.com/ is who we have used.
  17. What material?

We keep 3m ij35-matte on hand for this kind of thing. or the ij35c if you want air release.
  18. Looking for a Trade Printer for Puzzles

I don't have a supplier for producing them, but I do have a place where you can acquire blank pre-cut puzzles and (I'm not sure what equipment you may or may not have) if you have a flatbed printer you can print them yourself (or find a local flatbed printer willing to print on your supplied...
