Do you mean the material necessary to profile it?
  5. Static Cling

The printed side of static cling materials won't stick. If you need to make a single-sided window graphic that is applied on the inside facing out you have a couple options. You can reverse print on clear cling, then apply a white vinyl (with clear adhesive) on top. Then you'll have a static...

  7. Solvent vs Latex.

If you're talking mimaki solvent, that's out of my wheelhouse anymore. If you're talking mimaki latex, I would run as fast as you can the other way and never look back...we had one and it was a paper weight. Finally got rid of it here recently and don't miss it one bit.
  8. Solvent vs Latex.

I used to run a JV3, switch to latex about 5 or 6 years ago and never looked back. One of the first trucks I ever wrapped 5 or 6 years ago came back in recently, someone had dinged up the bed of the truck in a parking lot, printed another panel and didn't even have to manipulate colors or...
  9. Mimaki JV400LX Series

I'm glad you're having some luck with yours. We had one and it was essentially a very expensive paper weight. We replaced it with an HP360 and never looked back. We could get decent prints out of it but running it at 32 pass or 48 pass was just ridiculous. I could print 4 or 5 times as much...
  10. Looking to get a 55" cold laminator light weight

Not sure if they've improved the quality of the laminators or not, but the Daige we used to have was super light. http://daige.com/solo-cold-laminator/

  12. Advice for replacing a Mimaki JV3

We switched from a jv3 to latex 6 years ago (give or take) and never looked back. Now we're running multiple generations of latex printers. The cost to replace a head is negligible really, especially if you're not using the machine terribly often. And they're $85-120 each depending on the model...
  13. New HP Latex printers L560 and L570

Any idea what the price point on the 1500 is going to look like?
  14. Printing to fabric on HP Latex printer

We're running the 360. We print on Beaver Paper - Mosaic and Fisher Textiles 1800 Blocker. Both are great. The thing WE had the most trouble with was figuring out that you need to put the fabric on the take-up reel before you start printing. Otherwise the material falls down into the ink...

  16. Does HP will ever made a latex printer with white option?

We have an l25500, the newer 360 and a mimaki latex running cmykog+w and it is total garbage. I mean, total garbage. I've been running printers my whole life and we cannot get a quality print out of that mimaki for anything. The white ink is not opaque enough to flood with (mimaki confirmed this...

  18. HP L25500 - Color falling out at about the 5' mark

Had a similar issue in my a few years ago, starting running the color bars in the gutters, never had the problem again. Edit: My issue was with the yellow dropping out, just fyi.
  19. Coro sign pricing

I'm having a bit of a struggle with some folks here about pricing on coro signs. Just 24"x18" with an h-stake. Small quanitites, 10, 20, 30. double-sided. I'm curious what other folks are charging for them. I don't think we're charging anywhere near enough, because we're not pricing them...
  20. Hp latex 360 printer

Have an original L25500 that's been running since they first came on the market, and it's still going strong. Printing some banner stands right now. We also have a 360 and it's amazing as well. Before latex we had a mimaki jv3 and although they are workhorses, I am NEVER going back to solvent in...
