I was going to say do the same thing except check "COMPATAMODE" I just used this to fix some parts dropping out of a PDF in ONYX 10. Takes long to rip but it worked.
It's kind of funny you are complaining about your employee on here. If I had my own business, this site would be required reading for all. To see your boss complaining about you in the interwebs would be very discouraging.
Never heard of that happening. I did a quick google search and one instance popped up with no real solution.
Are the images embedded? If not, If you embed them then try re-opening the file do they still shift? The only thing I can think of is there were changes made to the flag image.

For inspiration on this kinda thing google infographics. There's some nice designs out there that could get your design juices flowing. Good luck Scott.
I worked for one for a brief time early in my sign career. I'm convinced it was a front for money laundering. haha
I once witnessed them applying arlon DPF8000 to some guys brand new pick up truck. Striping, logos etc. Myself and a bunch of people have witnessed the owners dad taking a leak ON...
I know a shop who used all artwork from one of the newer batman movies for a tow truck vehicle wrap. I thought for sure this guy would at least get a cease and desist to remove the wrap...but Nope. Nothing ever happened.
There are companies out there who are crazy like redbull and harley but...
