Yeah chris....I hope they have time to do it now. Think we'll have to reprint on the fly and my client is going to have to install end of week. IM thinking of the Flexcon or avery material at this point. Maybe bite the bullet and go with controltak just to be sure. Need to talk to my flexcon...
I agree....ij35 is a good material. For whatever reason at the airport gate area its doing what its doing.
Update: Got emails out now to Flexcon and Avery. Avery is saying 2120 is long term wall graphic...along with the 1050RS of course. Avery Bulletin Client is looking for a long term...
We use the oracal flavor of the 6mil wall graphic vinyl for that. Found it has less tunneling issues than others when run on our QS UV printer. Need a suitable Permanent alternative at the moment.
I know my vendor will likely take it upon himself to make it right which I will greatly appreciate but the time and effort that went into all of this now is lost. Any ideas of a quality alternative to this stuff then? My mind is thinking Avery 3003 or even Oracal 3651. One step up possibly in...
Surface is Painted drywall....at least a few months old. Not sure matte or semi-gloss.
just looked at lot #'s and MFR dates...all 3 rolls...same lot. All 3 rolls...Dated 031411....nearly a year old stock on this.
60in, 200 yd rolls.

As an update to this post:
I spoke to the vendor for S&F digilam....besides it actually being crappy lam now....and the reasoning is: "calendared lam should never be used on a board as it will shrink and cause the fogging/silvering issue/lifting we are seeing on the prints."
I buy that to a...
Yeah...but the Giants still won.
Muffed punt....TD.
Stripped Punt in OT...Game Winner.
It turned out to be the team that made the least mistakes overall that won.
Defense on both sides was really tough. Giants didnt allow 3rd down conversions. Eli got sacked 6 times....and hit 20...
Im seeing this more and more....that certain lams are not sticking to UV prints on Gatorfoam or Ultraboard....8509 is junk...S&F digilam 600 failed over the weekend now. Not sure if its the tension on the laminator causing the lam to stretch some and its simply shrinking back or what.
Im...
Im sure you can negotiate a deal on that many sign-a-cades with coro or styrene prints. Hell...I can get a good deal on 217 pcs. They're nice because theyre internally weighted with sand or water. So TX wind shouldnt move them too far if at all.
If the client cheaps out, then use the black...
