Hi All,
I'm licking my wounds in the Roland thread but need some banners printed in the meantime. I can send hi res JPEGS.
I need 2 @ 72" x 28" and two and 24" x 36". 6 grommets in the long ones and 4 in the smaller one. Taped hems are fine.
I need them shipped to 29455 by tomorrow....of...
Arrived this morning after and overnight soak. I noticed that the yellow tube had wicked some magenta into it. I syringed it clean and then replaced the yellow damper (yes I keep spares now).
Back to test print.....NO BLACK OR CYAN....none....I can pull it through the cap tops but it's not...
With the spare time I've had on my hands manual cleanings have become commonplace.
Wipers were shamefully bad. One of those things that you hear but don't see. 10 fresh ones will be there in the morning.
Thanks again for the help. I hope I can return the favors someday. Artbot....name your...
Had a few nozzles clear after first soak. Very promising. My concern is that I can remember less than perfect test pattens and not fighting this. It did the same thing in uni-directional. I'm still staring at the equation to calibrate feed (bringing calipers tomorrow)....again...never an issue...
Are you importing into corel to make a screen?
Photoshop is a raster program, Corel is vector. They talk to each other but it's in broken english. Have you tried the AUTOTRACE in Corel yet? It's rough but might help your distressed look even more.
Import your PS image (saved as a 300dpi jpeg)...
Major head soak going on now. It occurred to me that when I thought I was soaking in the past the pump may have pulled the solution out before capping. I did it manually and pulled the plug this time.
I've cleaned my little dye sub with the topside injection method. We'll see what happens with...
I'm thinking heat and feed rates are the culprit but not sure where to settle.
I did find that Colorip was overriding front panel controls but fixed that.
First of all....Artbot...thanks a ton. The fact you called a perfect stranger is a testament to your character.
Fighting banding but not sure if it's what everybody else calls banding and at what point I should just suck it up and print at 16/2 @ 720x1440.
As I've mentioned in another (couple...
Working with a SP300 running Colorip.
I've started fresh with everything trying to fix the banding issue. It is not the heads, I have new cap top and dampers (they were due anyway). Test patterns are fine with the exception of the fill pattern. I'm trying to adjust the calibration as I think it...
