  1. Calligraphic style

Sometimes it's a good strategy to just feed the lowercase letters into your font ID app. That's how I found this one. I figured the uppercase letters looked a bit swashy and font ID apps probably aren't going to be smart enough to check swashes and alternates.
  2. Calligraphic style

Adobe Poetica https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/poetica/ Hint: look at the alternate characters
  3. Need Help font ID, Please

Looks like Copperplate Gothic. There are many releases by different type foundries, but I would avoid Opti – they're an old defunct company that did cheap, poorly drawn knockoffs of popular typefaces.
  4. Some help with a couple fonts

That's generally true, but this is a dealership, not a manufacturer. Dealerships are typically smaller businesses that use all kinds of fonts. In this case, "Swansboro" is set in an obscure font called Nokia by Lauri Alku. Presumably inspired by the Nokia logo.
  5. Photoshop color picker

It changed when you clicked on the L by accident. I don't believe there's a keyboard shortcut for this. Keyboard shortcuts within dialog boxes will reveal themselves when you hold the Alt key, and there aren't any in the Color Picker. Even Tab and arrow keys won't do it in this case.
  6. Adobe Adds Font Matching to Photoshop

Typekit has had a font identifier right at the top of their home page for some time now. It's also built into the Adobe Capture mobile app. https://blog.typekit.com/2017/10/18/introducing-visual-search-on-typekit/
  7. Need Help Font ID Please

Hard to pinpoint with such a limited sample, but Helvetica Bold Condensed is a pretty close match. The differences in your sample are just straighter verticals in the /o and an slightly angled terminal on the ascender of the /t.
  8. Help with a few College style fonts

    They're logos, not fonts.
  9. Need Help Couple easy ones.

What's wrong with Tiki's answer for the script font? Ariston looks like a match to me.
  10. Need Help Couple easy ones.

Second one looks like Antique Olive.
  11. Touch Up - Eco Solvent

+1 for Sharpies. Buy a big pack with as many colours as you can get.
  12. Font ID from a rubbing

Looks a bit like Optima, but it's very hard to see the details that would help identify the font. Can you get a better rubbing?
  13. Anyone know this one?

FTY Konkrete looks pretty close. I think the P has been modified. https://www.fontspring.com/fonts/fontry/fty-konkrete
  14. Need Help Rf-640 multistrike or overprint

VersaWorks' canned profiles combined with the default colour management setting (Prepress US) will give you a lot of colour issues, including lighter blacks, green/yellow tint on greyscale, and awful reds. If you're not creating your own media profiles, try some from another manufacturer like...
  15. Name that font...

Planet Kosmos by Mads Rydahl. Free for personal use only. Not available for sale anywhere as far as I can see.
  16. Need Help Rf-640 multistrike or overprint

You're always going to have reflective showing through on black ink to some degree. Your ink is translucent, not opaque. If you want an opaque black on reflective, you have to use cut vinyl. Public street signs are often done that way, with the colours digitally printed and the black lettering...
  17. Recognize this? Font Help

It is in fact Avant Garde. Century Gothic has angled terminals on C, S and G, whereas Avant Garde has horizontal terminals.
  18. Font yes or Font no?

House Industries has a numerals-only font that's similar. https://houseind.com/hi/worthe Lots of other heavy Didone-style fonts will have similar numerals, such as: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/schizotype/mastadoni/ https://www.fontspring.com/fonts/dunwich-type-founders/sybarite
  19. Discussion I would just like to know....................................

Font licenses that allow a client to share fonts with their vendors/contractors (i.e. you) are very rare. If a client sends you a font, the correct response is, "We'll check the license terms on this font to be sure, but usually each company that uses the font has to purchase their own separate...
  20. 4over just cost us a major client

We use 4over for a lot of things here, too, but we never drop ship. They occasionally screw up, but we catch it and make them redo it before it gets to the client.
