We use Tesa 7065 tape from Grimco for mounting metal signs on concrete walls. We've used it enough to be quite confident with it – no failures yet. It's strong enough that we warn customers it may take some of the concrete with it when the sign is removed.
Not entirely true. Copyright applies to art and some designs, given that they must meet a minimum threshold of originality/creativity. This is why font designs cannot be copyrighted unless they are very decorative – letterform designs on their own did not meet the minimum threshold for...
Covering the windows with white vinyl would reduce the amount of heat from the sun to almost zero, wouldn't it? It would be more effective than perf and more effective than heat control films.
I would suggest they go to a window film company, not a sign company, if they want someone who can (I...
100% agree. There's no way of automating this type of vector drawing. It's hours upon hours of plotting points and curves with the pen tool. It's hard to imagine until you've done it yourself.
If the customer really wants to save money, why not just give him 50 decals on a single sheet? I'm sure he can find a pair of scissors and cut them himself. That might make the $1.50/ea worthwhile.

Huxley Vertical
Designed by Walter Huxley for American Type Founders in 1935.
EDIT: Actually it is a match. Check the URW version.

And if you need to go larger than 19'x19' you can easily design anything in 1:10 or 1:100 scale, and just move the decimal over one or two digits for all your...
Fred, I know you would be the last person to encourage piracy, but that's obviously not a legit site for buying fonts.
This is actually an interesting case. What would you do if a client insisted on using this font? It's a custom design licensed exclusively to BMW, and it's not available to...
We tried this stuff out recently as well. We've only tested it on a small sign, but it works great – it seems like it just soaks through the vinyl and then disintegrates the adhesive.
Berlin Sans – Type Network
Berlin Sans FB is the correct font. The tilted "e" is the standard, and the almost horizontal "e" is an alternate glyph.
If you buy it from the link above, the alternate "e" that you need is included, along with various other alternate characters.
There's also a...
Proxima Nova Light Italic
You'll have to use your Glyphs panel in Illustrator to access the alternate G in Proxima Nova.
EDIT: MyFonts is having website issues this morning. Here's an alternate link that might work. Proxima Nova is also free on Typekit.
