with your path selected... choose... Layer, Vector Mask, Current Path. nothing in the image will change, only how much of it is revealed, and if you delete the mask, there's your image. SIDE NOTE: some aspect of working with a masked layer can be difficult. i always duplicate that layer...

even if you haven't completed your masking task, just close the path, so it can be saved. when you come back to the file open the path and pick up where you left off. that's the beauty of vector, forever editable. EDIT: looks like i'm too slow... so yeah.. what ForgeInc said.

if i order from my local supplier, who delivers... if i order 10 yards, it never comes in the box at all... it's cut from a larger roll and just bagged. from the vendor out of the area... all rolls come in the original packaging and arrives the next day via UPS. (free shipping if over $100)

adding a line to your invoice, mentioning regular maintenance of the cars finish will help reduce ghosting, might be a good idea. that way when they come back, you can say... not only did you warn them but you told them how to reduce the problem.
