This is exactly what must have happened. had my tech here today and he syphoned new ink through the system and everything is back up and running. Was a little worried there as if the machine needs any major fixing these days Imay as well go out and get a new one.

Just got back from a week off and I had wiper issues before I left. I at least got someone to hit the enter key once a day so the machine would shut itself back down and on Monday called a service tech to come in and get the problem cleaned up and run a nozzle wash and shut the machine...

1 more question as i am away and cant remember without turning the power on and sliding the heads out manually, will the cleaning fluid stay in the caps or will it drain. I ask as the person who will do this has never touched the printer before.
