A lot of this issue is going to be your profile set up. I suggest that you create you own profiles for each media and update them from time to time. This will help with consistent quality. You should be able to find tutorials on line on how to set up profiles, colors for versaworks.

Maybe not a must have accessory, but just taking care of what you do have. Keeping cords clean and properly coiled up, not putting away wet/dirty tools. Keeping stuff as organized as possible in your tool kit so you know what you have and don't have.

Lower your temp, if you look into the heater while it's printing you should see the material slightly distorted but pretty much should be flat. Depending on your environment, number of passes and ink density will depend on your heat setting. It's worth playing around with to get it dialed in.
