There are different versions and generations of the DX4-heads. Could it be that the color with which the little board on the head is printed is white instead of yellow? In this case, it could be that the head is too old to work with a VP.

There is a "Print"-Menu item that leads to the Windows printers dialog, but also a "RIP and Print", what should lead to the RIP and Print-Window. But of course thats greyed out too if no data is in the file.

Sometimes, with some of the Summacuts, the clamp which holds the knife holder breaks. Such little breaks could lead to that the knife will be guided unstable. Another problem could be worn pinch rollers, so the tracking will be inaccurate.

Thank you for the reply. Regularly, the 160cm units are driven with 2 x-motors, only one have a connected encoder. If the motor without the encoder is the problem, you can just unhook the belt and work with one motor only.

Looks like a problem with the X-(feed)-motor. You can try to move the drive drum with the grit rollers a little bit by hand to check if there is any mechanical blocking, but in this case, if the motors are working, it should give another x-axis error. Looks like something is wrong with the hardware.

This is a video I have created some time ago for my old company (fortunately in english) about improving cutting accuracy. Beside common tasks there is a workaround unfortunately for Flexi only and smaller jobs what increases cutting accuracy dramatically.

You can give an other software a try: Onyx ( onyxgfx.com ) offers free, fully functional demo versions for download which work for 15 or 30 days. But I would beg that this will not solve the problem.
