  1. What are you doin all night?

Charlie I have been. Signs365 has been a great source. I spent 10k with them recently, or there abouts, and they have really come through. I am also outsourcing some installation. My wife and I realized that I need to learn to delegate, and allow people to live up to my standards. Admittedly...
  2. What are you doin all night?

I'd be in a mess if a drank, instead I am eating my all Raw vegetarian dinner, green juice, and chocolate smoothie. I figure if I am going to work all night I'd eat a nice meal.
  3. What are you doin all night?

Oh and for the 3M haters, as you can see all Oracal in here, and that's what is loaded on the machine as well. Been using Oracal for many years, and am very happy with their products.
  4. What are you doin all night?

I get it, work is a good thing. When I first joined Signs101 things were looking pretty bad for my company. Things have really turned around, and I am staying til midnight pretty much routinely, and getting here at 9ish in the morning. I can't sustain this, and I am nervous to hire new...
  5. 3M has a new non-PVC vinyl

    I agree
  6. L25500 and Window Perf

I will contact you for my next order. Thanks. Just looking for a perf that won't curl on my Latex printer. I currently use a brand that is work OKish, but it is more expensive then what you are offering. I'll be in touch.
  7. L25500 and Window Perf

How much is shipping to Charlotte NC?
  8. 3M has a new non-PVC vinyl

I think the idea of this new product not turning to spaghetti in the hot sun makes it unique, right? It allows installation in hotter climates. It also works better in colder climates. Those are big claims IMO. Sucks its 3M in light of the other crap going on.
  9. Getting new space organized

I have the heat assist model. So far so good. The purple rulers are great. Though they are pricey and easy to abuse, so I try to treat them with respect. They have rubber on the bottom of them, and it is somewhat easy to cut into the ruler, and ruin the straight line they offer.

I wrote on my thread, but in case you don't see it. Why are you downsizing spaces? Just being nosy. Is it economy, or just you don't need the space anymore?
  11. Getting new space organized

Out of curiosity, why the smaller shop? Business decreasing, or you just don't need the extra space?
  12. Getting new space organized

Thanks for the idea of the substrate rack, should have considered that. As for the masking, I always found when I am by myself masking larger sheets it is more effective for it to be lower then the table surface. Might be a personal thing. I did notice that all the models you can by are intended...
  13. icc profile hardware

That particular model, you may want to check closely that it makes profiles for wide format printers. I took a quick glance, and I am not sure it is intended for that. I could be wrong, but double check the specs and even call X-Rite on Monday before you pull the trigger.
  14. icc profile hardware

Usually you should expect the software to come with the hardware. The hardware should have a scanning device, usually USB. That's all you really need and that's what you should expect in the package. You will print your own charts out.
  15. icc profile hardware

Just my 2 cents here: IF you have never created your own profiles, be prepared for a steep learnign curve. If you have the cash, I would HIGHLY recommend bringing in an instructor for one day, have that person teach you and also make you some profiles on a couple materials you use the most...
  16. Mounting Adhesive

I believe both Lexjet and Drytac carry a few options.
  17. Getting new space organized

Moved in a couple weeks ago to a new place. Slowly but surely getting together in the back area. I built a two tiered shelf for substrates. My goal was to have a place for scraps but low profile enough to to save room. My wife laughed at it, and that's OK, it works :D Added an air hose above...
  18. 400 to high???

    EDNA? what's that?
  19. Not much of a wrap but great car, and great guy.

Actually he insisted I test drive after he saw the Audi TT model on my office desk. I got to learn a lot about him and his car. Real interesting guy. He has that particular car modified to the max. It is very powerful, and has racing everything on it from breaks to suspension, etc... I still...
  20. Not much of a wrap but great car, and great guy.

I do agree actually. Thing is his inner rims, and his spoiler are all carbon fiber, so he was hell bent on carbon fiber. I did however, think it was kind of hokey to do a shape like that. overall it was still successful since it was subtle enough, IMO.
