  1. Avery Wrap School

I did buy his DVD's when I learned the class was full until next year. So, I did find them great DVD's because he is my style of instructor. Hell is lives in Amsterdam for crying out loud. I also agree about new hires, I already had one contractor I use, who is not above learning new things...
  2. Avery Wrap School

Wicked, so the total for the hotel + car + airfare was... 666
  3. Avery Wrap School

Yes, it was a last minute booking. I had left Avery a message if anyone cancelled to let me know. So she called yesterday. So now I am scrambling to find an economical way to pay for the trip. Best I've found so far is 600 for hotel and flight and rental car out of Charlotte to Texas. Seems...
  4. Not much of a wrap but great car, and great guy.

Hah! To each his own. The guy is retired and successful. Drive this once a week, and is on his way to Audi racing school in Georgia tomorrow. You think he gives a pickle about your opinion. It's a race car man, now personalized with his artwork. Floats his boat :D
  5. Not much of a wrap but great car, and great guy.

Oh my excuse me. I was just showing off the car. Not really the wrap (or decal). Having a bad day man?
  6. Avery Wrap School

Going to Mutoh/Avery Wrap class 22, 23 & 24th October. Anyone else going? I've only messed around with installations, and generally just bring in a contractor to install. However, I am starting to enjoy doing it myself. So, this guy Justin Pate is teaching the class, seems like it will be...

Custom Audi TT. The graphic is a design by the owner and older gentleman who use to be an industrial designer. It represents the first letter of his first and last name J&B Anyway, it is 1080 Series 3M Carbon Fiber. I am also a huge Audi enthusiast.
  8. Step and Repeat Vendor on Signs101

Hi, does anyone wholesale Step and Repeat 8x10 fabric with the stand on here? Please PM me pricing and turn around. Wasn't sure where to place this thread. Thanks.
  9. To print wraps on vertical or horizontal??

Biggman, aren't you trying to make the panels at least fall into the vertical cracks, like door hinges so there is no seem? On Sierra you should't have that many seems if it is laid out correctly.
  10. Screw you 3M.

Only shops that are doing well will be interested in this situation. For every 1 shop that is doing well in the US there are probably 10 that are struggling. Which means, those 10 shops are probably still prey to 3M marketing and oblivious to any of this. My point is simply underlining Gino's...

  12. Testing US TECH

So, we have been moving into a new building. I have had the laminator for a couple weeks now, but only today is it in operation. I have the wider model with heat assist. Today I set it up just like my SEAL proS model. I successfully ran a large print from roll to roll unattended, and it...
  13. Black Vinyl Grid - Help Please

I did, all honesty it took about 20 minutes to weed. I just assumed it would have been longer. Installation was trickier than I thought it would be. Mainly, the windows had a waxy film that even alcohol had trouble getting rid of, so naturally the strips like that were trouble if I missed a spot...
  14. Black Vinyl Grid - Help Please

So this job sucked. Turned out well enough, but it has led to some other good work with them. All the sales guys there didn't want it up, cause they said it made the customers feel like numbers, however the bosses want it up there to keep them motivated. Wonder how long it will stay up?
  15. Screw you 3M.

I hadn't read anyone posting that they directly lost work. I mean what 3M did to him is as close to taking money directly out of someone's pocket as it can get. I just didn't read any other account of direct loss on here. I did say on my post, I may have missed that post. I also wasn't...
  16. Screw you 3M.

Yeah, as far as I can tell Colorado is the only one effected by this on the forum. I might have missed something though. It is as if Colorado one the unfortunately LOTTO. If it is seriously effecting his business, as it seems it is, I hope not only does he fight back, but he gains more loyal...
  17. Screw you 3M.

Another funny thing is, I noticed http://www.chevroletgraphics.com/dealer/index.php Yet here I am doing a decent job for them, and I have nothing to do with this program. I imagine the program is so convoluted and complicated that the employees at the dealers (which churn and burn as often as...
  18. Screw you 3M.

Also from that link I posted, I mocked up a car, and the options are F'ing retarted. I chose a couple stripes for the side back and hood and it was almost the price of a full wrap. This is only a step up from Sign A Rama's BS online wrap options.
  19. Screw you 3M.

Taking a step further did anyone bother to look into this domain? Absurd pricing. Slick software I guess, even though I loath the whole situation. http://www.vipadi.com/graphics.html
