We might be somewhat of a competitor (Hebron, KY) but we don't target your area for new sales or steal customers. Our guys do great work and we do travel all over the area for installs, so if you need someone on a "per job" basis it might be worth calling Adam here at Crux RoadBoardz and getting...
Training, patience, and OTJ experience is all that will help you be a better laminator. You might also want to look into purchasing a simpler/easier laminator if the current one is too complicated for everyday use. We had a Seal here and only one guy could run it well. We purchased a GFP and...
He's been this way for years, I've never subscribed. Stay away from him; he's a PITA.

That's what happens when you don't allow the lines to drain correctly into the waste bottle. (if you had a clogged hose) Run some big squares of only cyan and magenta until the mixed ink is flushed out of the lines. A head soak can't be left sitting for that long on this type of machine as the...
It sounds more like the slider card to me, when the MB goes out the machine usually doesn't turn on. But, it could possibly also cause issues like this.
I believe that was "converted" material, FirehouseDecals.com sells it. It isn't repositionable or that conformable or air release like 680CVR though; unless they have a new product out. I'd definitely be interested in seeing the brochure.
Post a photo of these rears, these sound really odd color-wise for fire apparatus. If they aren't concerned with NFPA compliance, you could do 3MIJ680CR printed chevrons, but they aren't as visible/reflective so they don't meet the standards. I would try to do them NFPA compliant though, as it...
Either 3M Diamond Grade, or Reflexite (Oracal product) striping meet NFPA standards for apparatus rear reflectivity.
Both are sold in 6" strips specifically for this purpose. You will have to disassemble/reassemble the rear of the truck. Match what is on the rest of their fleet currently or...
We print the little things that are un-weedable on our Gerber Edge for a local screen printer to use as a positive. (I think that is what you're looking for???)
I finally convinced them to purchase one for here around Christmas and everyone loves it. I can teach a new hire how to use one in an hour or so and they're off. We have laminated around 500 rolls since then w/o any issues with the machine. Most of the time the other guys here leave the heat...
Make a 50% pattern that runs from the edge of the door to the other edge.
I would even suggest making it out of phototex or something similar.. for easy re-use
We still run ours here almost every day. We also have an Edge 2 that runs daily. For those that don't understand why we still run them; there are still many advantages to them. We even still run them alongside the 3 large-format printers here. Great machines, great quality. Compare that to an HP...
