  1. For anyone looking for a good backup solution

We just installed this new system from Synology and tasked our old (outgrown) diskstations with backup duty. All backups are setup automatically through the server by our IT guy. In the next week, we are going to be placing one of the old units offsite to backup remotely. This is a pricey...
  2. Question on channels when wrapping vans

Install into grooves and channels without stretching whenever possible. Work the vinyl into the grooves in a relaxed state and it will never come out. There are some instances where you must stretch. Properly clean the channels, use some primer, and install with as little stretch as...
  3. State of YOUR economy- year of 2011

Sales increased just shy of 70% over 2010, and 2010 was almost double 2009. Cash flow was good, overhead and expenses were inline, made a few cash equipment purchases. 2012 is looking like it's going to be a good year too. Happy New Year!
  4. Awesomeness!

Lol.. sorry I missed that pic! Good times.. threw some serious vinyl (I think the total was somewhere around 23k sf). Anthony will be a class A installer. He just needs a few miles of vinyl under his squeegee. Hopefully everyone can get together again at my place in March!

    Merry Christmas everyone!
  6. Is this too Cheap??

He's saying to charge the shop minimum for the order (4.25sf), not $4.25 per sf. That's what I'd do. We run $75 for wholesale customers as a minimum.
  7. Wrap and Rap. Meet up.

Yes, we're moving the open house as well as the meet-up. AZ is absolutely beautiful that time of year and riding is great. The road to Canyon lake is awesome. There are a few lakes back there that are really nice (plus it'll be spring break time so it might not be a bad idea to stop at...

  9. Hello from Williams, Arizona

    Welcome from Phoenix!
  10. Wrap Fail

Install actually looks pretty good around the emblem! And it's pretty common practice to wrap over emblems on some vehicles. Many times customers don't want them removed for various reason (leased vehicles, temporary wraps, etc).
  11. HP L25500 Pros and Cons?

I was told by an HP dealer that HP has admittedly built the 25500 and 26500s (and 28500s???) to be three year machines. Meaning that they will have new models out within three years, are only expected to last three years before needing to be replaced, parts may not be available after three...

  13. When are you closed for Christmas / New Year?

We're closed from Christmas Eve to Jan 2nd every year. Paid off for everyone. Except this year I'll be going to San Francisco to help Prowraps install some stupid bus wraps.. But, with the extra money I make that week, I'll take a week and go to the Carribbean again.
  14. Proud papa.

You're damn right I did. Who the hell knows what a dangling modifier is? How the hell do YOU know what it is? lol
