    I agree with OP, I use a jigsaw for anything over .054. Use the correct blade and it will go thru aluminum like butter.

    Thanks G and Jill, I've had great results using calendered vinyl as a mask. Nice crisp edges, with latex and oil, with no paint lift when removing.
