You can print on anything in a pinch. But that is a cut vinyl, so it is not intended for printing on, especially anything that uses heat to cure the ink. Not sure why this is a question.

Curious...what leads you to believe a high res version of that exists? Where did you get that particular image?

Best trick is to tear off the tape as you go if you are installing into or over curves.

If you already mounted your studs to the sign, simply lay paper down on the table. Lay the sign on the paper, apply pressure to mark the paper with the studs, remove the sign and go back and Sharpie the marks you made.

From my experience so far, if you just specify the PMS color in your file, and your material is calibrated correctly, you should get it pretty close (I'm speaking as a Latex 560 user). Interesting...I'd love to see how you do that. Adding an AI or EPS with CutContour, for me, yields nothing in the Plotter RIP. There's no way that I can see that adding the job separates the 2 like Flexi does when you send to print/cut.

Well.....you're not gonna match reflective anything. You can get close to the hue of those vinyls, but that's about it. You can print on white reflective though, and get colors that should be close. Would take a lot of trial and error. We do lots of reflective printing, and have had decent luck...

We do mostly mesh banners for this, but have done some more long term signs from 10mm Coro. Drill holes in corners, zip tie to the fence. Have some at a neighboring school that have been up for 8 years.

Not totally true. You can add any PSD, EPS, PDF, TIF, JPG....etc....straight to RIP without running through Flexi. Only jobs you HAVE to run through Flexi would be print and cut stuff.

I assume these are solvent printed then (you don't mention printer type) ? If not (as in latex), there is no outgassing.

We print on clear, reverse image. Back with white vinyl. Mount to acrylic. Most will get another layer of black or other blockout vinyl so nothing shows through (most whites are pretty translucent.)

Yep, they have a huge one in Dallas too. Almost went to work there, running production and training Vets coming out of the service. Unfortunately, the pay being offered did not fit my needs at the time.
