Definitely. We print on 3M reflective all the time, laminate w/ 3M 8518 and mount to aluminum/ACM. Depending on whether you're printing solvent/uv the inks will affect the reflectivity differently.

I definitely wouldn't discourage you from getting one of these. It's a great machine, and has performed very well for us. My complaints are really just with Rasterlink (easy fix if you're already running Onyx or willing to dish out some more $$ to upgrade) and the print / cut registration...

Just a note on this, as soon as you pull anything off the bed you'll lose your vacuum suction. I'm not familiar with Vanguard printers but unless you've got something like a XL Arizona with double bed size, you'll probably have to wait until the full bed is done to start pulling pieces off...
