I can't say that I have experienced this although I have come in some mornings and found my mimaki stuck on after a sleep cycle and I think it had something to do with the wiper getting stuck or some such nonsense
I can't figure out if this is ligit or not. I guess best not to click the link.

I don't know that particular banner stand, but how does the graphic adhere to the upper bar? I use the Orbus Orients and they have 2 methods but the best method seems to be loosening all the allen screws and applying the graphic directly to the aluminum bar. These units also have a sliding...
I have sort of figured it out but still have no idea what causes it. I had other items from the designer on my screen so I decided to delte them and then try cutting again and it was instant.
I think that these files may have been made with old pdf files from the same customer and they just...
I have seen this before with files from different designers.... basically I go to cut the file and the cut screen freezes and sits there for nearly 40 seconds, then it's ready to go. I cant figure out what's in this file that has the software confused...anyone ever figure out what causes this?
Has anyone heard of convex vinyl...seems like a company that sells specialty vinyls for motocross etc... I am curious to know if they rebrand exisiting vinyl or do they actually mfgr their own line.
On small decals with very thin outlines your going to have uneven cuts no matter what. I am talking about 1 or 2" shapes with a 1/8" outline. leaves virtually no room for error with or without bleeds. I always warn customers that there are limits, and then they can make up there own minds...
When golfing down in Myrtle beach last year we played a course called Crow Creek and those little buggers would wait until you were putting on the green , then they would fly down and rummage through your cart for food. Was hilarious until he stole my sandwich....

As we slowly remove the glue it is not looking as bad as I saw earlier...Nobody gets to close to this, so I am going to go over it...I suppose over time the white will catch up to the off white
I have seriously wanted one of these machines for about 4 years, but just never seem to pull the trigger.
I don't currently farm out that much, but I know if we have one I will find ways to use it for my existing clientele.
I am in no rush for it to be productive, so I can take my time...
We just stripped down a polycarbonate sign face and anywhere there were no graphics has slightly yellowed..... I did not realize that the sign was not acrylic and now have to wonder if after re-lettering if the colour variance will be that noticeable?
I have one customer who tells me the mags on one of his drivers trucks basically welded itself to the doors.... He said the guy cleaned his vehicle religiously and would not lie. So it only stands to reason that if this set of mags reacted this way, then the entire roll probably would which...
I don't believe this, but not 5 minutes after posting this I went downstairs to laminate some prints and there they were!!! the off black hazy line segments....alcohol works well...just say'n
No one has mentioned it yet, but could the rollers use a cleaning with alcohol to remove the ink? I get them from time to time too but they are so faint...if they really bother me I clean them off carefully with a Q tip and alcohol...if that fails sometimes cleaning solution will work although...
