The Rosenthal in your image is an absolutely great machine, we've had ours a little over a year now and it's just one of those machines that you wonder how you lived without it.
The thing is built like a tank and weighs almost as much as one.
We have a full stable of clowns in D.C. right now, on both sides of the aisle. We need aggressive term limits on all elected and appointed government positions.
In a few months' time, the lam will be 10% smaller than the cast vinyl it was applied to, the adhesive left behind will collect all manner of dust and dirt and generally look bad. This is assuming you are using a calendared laminate.
It's probably the media, one trick that I do with more "affordable" media is place the far left outside pinch roller well inside the crop marks, this helps keep the media more stable/flat as it feeds.
Turn SCC off, and you should be able to "Send Now", if not right click the cutters tab in PM and make sure "Make Active" has a check next to it. If you can poll the media size in Cut/Plot you should be good to go for cutting.
You can run it over TCP/IP in PM as well since you CAM is not being...
Tell your Flexcon rep to send you some sample rolls to test on your printer(s). We use their polyester films for high-temp applications and it prints very nicely on our UV printers.
Try importing the files into a new window in Flexi as opposed to just opening the file, I have a few problem files that only print correctly if I import them. My guess would be it's a stroke or gradient created in Signlab that Flexi is choking on.
If the file was saved after printing, or you could duplicate exactly the layout of your print you can still cut these. Start to print the files you need cut files for, after the barcode prints you can cancel the job, and then use the barcode number in summa cutter control via the 'Action', 'Cut...
If what netsol suggested doesn't work, I would do a repair to your Thrive RIP-Queue installation in the Onyx installer.
You may also want to run the Epson Edge Dashboard in the background as it may give you information that Onyx does not.
Summa Cutter Control works well with Onyx, just point CC to your Thrive/cutter/Summa folder, I've been using this setup since 2018 and it works well.
You do need to check a couple boxes in your Onxy CUT-Server settings. Setup the cut folder under port settings and Automatically cut new files...
If you want to make a one-time purchase that will last you possibly decades - go with a Summa S2-T and it's improbable you will ever doubt your decision.
I think you use Flexi/Production Manager... go to the panel tab in PM and on your preview screen just grab the little red box and drag it out slightly on all 4 sides and your keyline won't get clipped off when you print.
A GTX 1070 will blow the doors off that 1050 for a few extra bucks.
