Who worth talking to about Fotoba in vic?
I had a good chat with positive about my options, a Fotoba might be the best bet,
I was aiming for a 2 birds 1 stone, but the lengts of paper that needs cutting is to much for a flatbed cutter.
Im quite sure i underlined that im not interested in other brands as i want local support.
When something does break, i want it ready to be operational the next day, not in 2 weeks.
and most GOOD printers and cutters are not made in china, not sure what equipment you own..
Every printer...
Jason chimed in earlier, But no haven't spoken to them about the Zund directly.
I've basically got all the info i need for both the summa and zund. and it also may not be the solution i'm after according to a few people.
Yeah im hoping he chimes in, im pretty sure he asked the same question years ago.
Yeah just by looking at the physical build and the motors etc, the Zund looks far more capable.
I've seen the Zund in action many times with the canon guys. But not the summa, just on quick instragram videos.
we're looking at a new CNC to cut a range of media:
Corrugated plastic
PVC foam board
Aluminium Composite Materia
Banners
Papers
Cardboards
Also need roll media attachment.
and so on.
I have both available to purchase locally. Im not interested in other brands as local support is key,
Pros...
I dont think you're going to find a "colour management for dummies" anywhere.
There's a lot of poor info on colour management on the internet. There's also very little good knowledge.
90% of the stuff you'll find is "print a chart, read it, save profile, print" or something along those lines...
everything that Frank said
All id like to add is that i would suggest getting the I1Profiler software with CMYK profiling as it's easier to get consistent profiles from, and IMO generally better than most RIP profile engines.
It's not my favourite software but it does work well as an "all-in-one"
check out CMYK engineering and their LIPLA brand of inks. They where very helpful when i enquired. samples where nice too. Although they're based in the usa, they seem pretty reliable.
Less about the welder, more about how good you can weld.
I would be looking at a TIG with a soft start feature minimum. even pulse width modulation too.
I'd love to upgrade from my LFP to a qb. (but i don't really need it) would like the d50 option and the removable head seems handy. But i have a Spectropad s2 to do portable stuff.
