There's job info that retains the settings from the last time the job was sent. It shouldn't do this on a new job unless your default job settings for the printer, in production manager, are set that way.

Try clicking on the linked option (I think) when you bring in the images, then it will not save the image in the file, only a placeholder. When you go to print, it will refer to the original file, so don't get rid of the file. Also, I'm assuming this is on the local hard drive and not a 3.5"...

I don't think any fabric material will be a permanent solution. And depending on your printer, doing a double sided mesh banner may not be an option.

Have you tried a Roland dealer in your area?

If you're sure the cap top is installed correctly and the head and cap top are free of any ink buildup and there are no scratch marks on the bottom of the head, the next step would be to try damper(s), then a new head. (Though in my experience, the dampers on the VS series heads don't clog up...

Check the gap between the bottom of the carriage at both ends of the plotter. If it's higher on the left, then your beam is out of alignment. Gety with your dealer or with graphtec to get it fixed. Unless the plotter had been dropped, it should be covered under warranty. Sent from my...
