I meant Ronan lettering enamel rather than 1S. I tend to use Alumalite as a background more and more these days, though. It comes in some nice colors, less prep, lasts longer, and is easier for me to lift.

I did have it in Futura but I spelled Verde wrong so threw in the Motel Kings. I think no matter the locale, legibility is vital.

I agree that the solid looking mailbox pic (and only use 1 pic) is a good idea. I have had to replace my own mailbox at least 5 times due to the snowplows.

Here's a quick suggestion that is by no means a masterpiece. But next time, when asking us technical stuff like can I reuse an old sign face, please ask us layout stuff too.

Not to be a turd in the punch bowl...but it's very difficult to read. The lettering is way too large/close to the edges, and in my opinion would have looked better in white with a punchy black outline. Love....Jill

For the love of God make the LLC much smaller. and I'd use a script on the name and make LANDSCAPES stand out more. Love....Jill

The drop shadow almost looks like it has a different light source than the red shadow. I do prefer that version. Try bullet points between the top & bottom services rather than the ampersands, as Marlene suggests. And I've always thought you were uber-cute. :) Love....jill

If you're using GG make sure to do so sparingly as it can grow and make a huge mess that's a pain to clean up. I'd spend the extra $$ for the better glue, so you don't have to re-glue anything. Love....Jill

If it's yellow, I think the only color you could get away with using on the face would be black. When I did these (only ever did 2 because they were such a PITA) we used 12 mist coats of Grip Flex, and their corresponding thinner. It's a sticky, stinky paint. AkzoNobel Grip-Flex Paint....most sign supply places carry it. Then I'd apply translucent vynull to the front of the thing. Love....Jill

I've noticed this with yellow as well. I can't remember where I saw this/read it but I believe there is a cast vynull with a white background. I bought a PMS red color brand once (probably Arlon) and it had a white backside. I wounder if you could print yellow onto white, but then there's always...

I think making the name in two different colors on the same vehicle is a mistake.

Chalkboard paint is almost flat but not quite, and it kind of has a texture. I'd hand-letter it, it takes Ronan lettering enamels beautifully. Love....jill

The wallpaper doesn't bug me, it reminds me of the "lace" effect used a lot (with paint) in Kustom Kulture. I still reallllllly dislike the "hand done" lettering in the logo, it's got so many issues, which someone who really does hand letter would not do. Secondary copy would go up in the bare...

The one on your machine that says "next". I believe that is the one which pages thru the three different settings. Just push it until Roll 1 is displayed.
