Would not like to arm wrestle one of the guys pounding by hand.
  2. McMaster-Carr - this one might be a record

If you use Fusion 360 you can import almost all of their parts and hardware into your designs so you don't have to model them.
  3. Good news day

Johnny... we were not really talking about Hil or threesomes? Do you have aspirations? Threesomes seem to tend toward your side of the political spectrum?
  4. CNC for Cutting Eva Foam Matts

    Laser works well.
  5. Options for getting large patterns digitized?

The key is taking the picture square to the drawing and moving farther away from it, as long as you can zoom in before you trace it. And then plot it on paper instead of cutting it.
  6. Yeti SmartBench

Shopbot has the Handibot which is somewhat similar and they now have a subscription service where you can get a machine for a few months and return it. Also a fantastic forum with very helpful people.

  11. Good news day

I am old enough and liberal enough that Liz looks pretty good to me:D. Flyoverland is the midwest- people look down from 30k feet as they go from coast to coast.
  12. Want to buy legal seats of Flexi Pro 11-

I am still looking for a seat or two of Flexi 11- only legit copies- if I wanted a crack I would do it myself. Stealing is still wrong in Minnesota, and elsewhere I hope.
  13. Suggestions What is the average cost of DX7 printhead?

Our first RF640 was rode hard for 3 years and still prints great as far as I know. We replaced it with the same printer simply because we cannot be down and the price is really reasonable for the amount it makes- and the old one was worth 40-50% of the new prices.
  14. Good news day

Johnny- perhaps you would like to break that down for us in flyoverland? "whimpering and screaming and crying" sounds like Trumptalk? Sometimes that should be taken with a grain of salt. Mind you, I am as happy he is gone as anyone, a bad man.

We have FlexiPro and several seats of FlexiDesigner and would like to add more seats. Our version is identified as: FlexiDesigner Cloud, Version 11 sp6 Interested in any version which will work well with this. Thanks Gene
  16. Gonna miss Win 7, where to next?

I have been trying to keep up with the discussions on Win 10 just to keep up with the class but have always considered it an OS best suited for touchscreen tablets. I have a couple of Win 8.1 tablets and have more or less made peace with them. I am retired from my company but still here every...
  17. CNC or Laser?

I have a Chicom laser [3x4' 130w] and a 2x4 shopbot and use the laser 50x as much- no holddown and very fast. Totally different beasts, a hybrid would not be a good idea IMHO. Depends on what you do.
  18. Installers who say they can - BUT can't!

The truth seems to be out of fashion these days.
  19. Perf cutting info?

Thanks- that has always been what I expected to be the case without trying it. I sold the biz but still do consulting, I used to punch out the round [Roland] registration marks and stack several sheets and cut them with a straight edge.
  20. Perf cutting info?

Is anyone actually using this feature [we have a GR540] effectively? Do you weed the vinyl first and then perf it and tear it apart? I guess we are just looking at more professional looking product. We do not do a lot of small decals but it is unavoidable to do some for regular customers who...
