  2. Best RIP for Latex 310

And create a output profile with black generation set appropriate to you printing requirements. What limitations the RIP imposes on that will depend on what RIP or third party profile generation software you choose.
  3. Best RIP for Latex 310

Most RIPs are available in demos. Get some and try them out. My personal favorite is ColorGate.
  4. Software Help Shop management software

Like you I have looked at a lot of software but came to the same conclusion about having to enter everything in Quickbooks again. Have you every taken a good look at Quickbooks layout designer? A found out you can set it up to put in a lot of extra fields which I have used to create a simple...
  5. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

Sounds like the CV300 Media Set and Profile was created before the NEXUS_00_06_02.10 or 12 update, and your firmware is NEXUS_00_06_02.10 or newer. If so performing color-calibration will not correct it.
  6. Onyx RIP / Printing images with Embedded Profile if different from quick set

When you say images are you referring to tifs and jpgs with embedded profiles? Most RIPs honor these, but I have seen many RIPs that do not honor embedded profiles on PDFs. If you are embedding your RGB working spaces and the RIP is not recognizing them as the input profile than yes you are...

The only way for him, maybe!
  8. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

Thanks for clarifying the capabilities of the L330. Calibration on the L360 is something I wouldn't say is problematic, as long as you do a linearization on top of that for more color critical work. The one thing I like about it is that it does calibrate lc/lm by themselves which can not be...
  9. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

If the printer asked to do a Color Calibration then it must have an onboard spectro. I would let it perform a Color Calibration. If it allows output profile generation than I would do that as well. It probably will be as good of a profile as you can create with Flexi. Can you create a color...
  10. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

This is where using the term profile when you really mean media preset makes everything really confusing. If I am understanding you correctly you are creating a new media preset, but not making a new output profile? Are you creating a calibration for that new media preset with the onboard...
  11. HEALTH INSURANCE!........How I loathe you!

Yes and 98.5 percent of people eating fresh fruits and vegetables in 1925 are dead today. I guess that must make me an expert in the medical field as well.
  12. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

Are you cloning existing generic media presets or creating New media presets from the Top selection on the media presets list?
  13. Adjusting Vacuum pressure for substrate on HP 360 latex

Profile really. Quite confusing It would be a lot clearer if you used the term Media Preset.
  14. HEALTH INSURANCE!........How I loathe you!

Maybe need a set of living laws like we have driving laws and fine people if they don't obey. Our Auto Insurance is pretty reasonable.
  15. HEALTH INSURANCE!........How I loathe you!

O the evil of Socialism, don't need to take any responsibility for things if someone else pays for it.
  16. Adjusting Vacuum pressure for substrate on HP 360 latex

The easiest way is to do it when it starts printing. Go to adjustments in the print job screen.
  17. HEALTH INSURANCE!........How I loathe you!

But what are the income tax rates in Canada for example? It has to get paid for one way or another.
  18. 360 Red Printing Question

Colorgate and Fiery XF. Fiery Color Profiler has more controls and seems to create better profiles. XF has to many bugs so I have been using ColorGate the most of late. I am getting some pretty good profiles out of Colorgate as well. If I don't do in RIP linearization and create just the...
  19. 360 Red Printing Question

A good custom created profile with black settings set to add more black in the shadows is a must for dark reds. Also I found for best reds with 3M IJ180 it is best to use 170% Ink density but you also have to be able to linearization with per ink channel limiting in the RIP to get the best reds...
