  1. Ultraflex 12oz Blockout banner

No profile is going to help you with Ultraflex. With Ultraflex banner media the plasticizers come to the surface and cause problems with Latex ink. Use something else or whip it down with alcohol.
  2. Orajet 3640G profile for HP latex 360 - can't get gray right

Before you do anything else, have you determine it is not your lighting? Take it outside and look at it.
  3. Grimco = FREE HP L360 Printer

Are they trying to get rid of the L360s?
  4. HP Support Phone Number?

Here is HPs number. 1-800-334-5144 But you would be better off checking with an electrician on the phase converter.
  5. Any suggestions on a 220V USB

Looked in to it as to what it would take and found them to be in the $4K to 5K range per piece. I just couldn't see much use for them because it would not be likely they could hold power long enough to finish a print. So in the long run you would have 10K down the drain for what. On the other...
  6. HP 360 Latex printing issues

There are 4 curing heat modules in the 360. If you problem are in one area of the platen then it is possible one of the curing modules is not functioning properly. Also I would stay away for Ultraflex banner media, as it has known problem with latex printers.
  7. Need an HP360 Latex print profile for Opti-Solve Basic Heavy Duty 15 oz Matte Banner

With an HP360 why aren't you making your own?

  9. Getting Ready to Take the Plunge -- What to Do About Health Insurance

Ain't Socialism grand. The Venezuelans love it.
  10. Profiling suggestions around Chicago/Indianapolis area

Yes reds are a challenge with HP's Latex printers. You would think after all this time that they would have reformulated their ink to easily produce better reds given that they seem to want to design the printers for the more color novice user. That being said pretty goods can be printed if you...
  11. Profiling suggestions around Chicago/Indianapolis area

As graysquirrel mentioned about the firmware, just be aware that any profiles made before version 6_02.12 which I believe was released around the first of December 2015 will not give you accurate color, and just re-calibrating will not correct the color. Version 6_02.10 firmware released in...
  12. Profiling suggestions around Chicago/Indianapolis area

Why don't you get the profiling option for ONYX and make your own. Not sure if you can calibrate the 310 on the printer like the 360 but you do need to keep up on the latex because the nature of HP's latex is that you will get color variations from time to time. Not sure if it is the ink, media...
  13. New HP 560 Latex Machine Video

I don't think anybody really knows what the ink density numbers mean other than we know 100% is the baseline. Latex ink is a different animal than other types of inks, throw to much ink at it and it gets milky looking and loses gamut. Throw to little and it loses gamut. There is a sweet spot for...
  14. New HP 560 Latex Machine Video

Can that be correct? I thought they were supposed to have a broader range of print densities than that. Looks like that is just a recommended or default setting.
  15. New HP 560 Latex Machine Video

Is there a document released yet showing all available print modes, color modes, ink densities available per pass, etc. on the 500 series?
  16. Any reports on the new 7_00.11 firmware yet?

Pantone 200 yes no problem 120 ink density and CMYK mode 10pass. Pantone 200 was correct on both Concept 201-OAPAE and Milano 18oz Banner. Lowe's decals and Banners. The most difficult red is Pantone 185. Best to use backlit setting 150% density and do all ink limiting/linearization with the...
  17. Any reports on the new 7_00.11 firmware yet?

Because I needed to add some new media I did install the 7_00.11 firmware, and did do the calibration and RIP created profile with LRCM on. I am thinking that might be a good practice especially for profiling. I received the same message about re-calibrating like in the previous firmware where...
  18. HP 360 de-lamination issues

In testing on SAV, the Optimizer setting seemed best at 8% to 12%. Optimizer is figured into the ink density so the more you use the less saturation/gamut you can achieve. And, I never had issues with 230 degrees or curing and delimitation issues in a well ventilated climate controlled room.
  19. HP 360 de-lamination issues

If you have experienced that before on your HP L25500 that would sort of rule out the OP. You could always test by turning the OP to 0 and see if it makes any difference with the delimitation. If I was guessing there is some sort of film adhering to the media from the evaporation process. Does...
  20. HP latex 360 waste

Sounds like you need more L360s so you could just set each one for the different kinds of media you use. You wouldn't be spending all day changing media that way.
