Head test print? I have done the standard test print to correct banding and bi-directional test print but not sure what you mean by head test print?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has seen prints coming out of the machine with what seems like one pass matte one pass gloss that continues throughout the print. This happened to me on gloss paper at first, but now it is happening on our vinyl. I hope this makes sense..lol thanks, Aaron

on the VP you can turn on "periodic cleaning" which wipes the heads. You can set it to clean after every print or every few minutes if you so choose. I wouldn't reccommend setting to clean every few minutes unless you only run small jobs... With the SP 540 if there is any ink on the metal...

Ya definately your screen. The resolution on your screen is only 96 dpi. Print it at a good resolution and you'll see for yourself.

check your vacuum settings. try 100% not AUTO. supposedly this can also cause banding.
